Green Point is named after the beachside neighborhood that the Katz’s brother’s grandparents Rhoda and Oscar lived in. The brother’s version of a modern seafood brasserie, it’s chic, but unfussy. Smart, but with good humor. Green Point is a celebration of hospitality, a spirited space that hums with busyness but encourages guests to sit unhurried and enjoy the atmosphere. Highlights include a raw bar serving shellfish, crudos, tartares, ceviches and a rotation of cocktail oysters sourced from the East Coast and the Gulf, as well as a 20-seat bar meant for lingering over ice cold martinis, cocktails and Champagne. Come in. Sit down. Pop a cork on a bottle of rosè. We want you to stay a while. @green.pointdallas
“Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar in Dallas is truly a fantastic dining experience. The food is exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared from start to finish. The hospitality was equally impressive, with a staff that was attentive, welcoming, and professional throughout the evening. The restaurant itself is neat, clean, polished, and creates a warm upscale atmosphere that is perfect for a couples night out, date night, or special evening together. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for outstanding seafood, oysters, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience in Dallas.”
“We traversed the winter weather to drive two blocks to one of the only Restaurants open. It was phenomenal! I had the Redfish, can't go wrong with that & my son had Fish & Chips. The service was excellent. Staff was great. Five stars 🤩 ** Update ** Per usual Green Point Oysters is stellar. The staff is amazing. They really live up to their name, if you want to best fresh Oysters in Dallas. This is THE spot. Danny (our server) was great. Q is the man, wasn't there tonight, unfortunately. The Red Fish is still my staple, but I think I was out ordered with the Clam Linguine. Five stars always 🤩”
“Great seafood joint. Friendly service and excellent menu. Always busy. Quiet, even with a full house. Tables/booths are well placed so you don’t feel like you’re sitting in top of other parties. Fairly expensive, but outstanding quality - fresh & flavorful . Good selection of appetizers, entrees and drinks. Bar area is a great compliment to the restaurant.”
“I recently visited Green Point Seafood with my partner and his mother, who was visiting from Illinois. Based on the high Google rating of 4.7, we were looking forward to a great meal, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to a 4.7 rating. We started with the La Perla Platter. While the oysters were good and the ceviche was fine, none of us cared for the crab claws, and the shrimps were only average. At $65, we felt the platter was overpriced compared to better experiences we've had elsewhere. For our main courses, the fish and chips were acceptable, but didn't compare favorably to other high-end versions we've tried. For example, we had fish and chips at the Mayfair Chippy in London about 4 months ago. The fish and chips were much better at the Mayfair Chippy, and they were actually cheaper (Mayfair Chippy is known to be a "bit pricy", even for London). The lobster roll was also just okay, and the clam pasta was disappointing as the noodles were mushy. While the service was professional and polite, the quality of the food was not consistent with the high ratings. Given the many dining options in Dallas, it is unlikely that we will return.”
“Visited to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had a nice time overall. The place was busy, so the wait was longer than expected. We ordered several dishes to share — some were great, while others were hit or miss. The atmosphere was cozy with Christmas decorations. Parking was a bit difficult to find.”
