Adachi is a Japanese restaurant in the Birmingham neighborhood of Birmingham.
“My feeling is that Adashi is a japanese restaurant who try to re-invent the japanese cuisine. And it is a success. Each dish has a whao sensation. Great place, motivated staffs and nice decor. The only thing I did not like much is that the music is too loud so people tend to talk loud. Aside from that, each dish came really quickly, very surprising. I had a great time and I will definitely recommend the restaurant.”
“Adachi is one of our favorite spots, we came here for Valentine's day and the set up was so cute! The adachi flame and the zen maki roll are our favorite rolls that we’ve tried so far! Always a great experience! 10/10 recommend 🤍”
“Came here the second time, both times was greats, but the second time was phenomenal. Our server name is Justin, he is a funny and nice gentleman, would love to come back again and have Justin as our server. We ordered 2 Lava makis, Lobster Maki, 2 sliders, 2 Black Cods, a lobster roll, and 21 day aged rib eye. The lava maki was delicious, it's spicy, sweet and smokey. Lobster Maki was crispy, savory, and very light, would consider it as an appetizer. I personally didn't try the slider but the 2 people who ate it said it was PHENOMENAL. The black code is very good, the sauce tastes like sweet soy sauce, the fish it self was soft and tender. The ribeye was soooo good, it comes with mash potatoes topped with the whole ribeye, brussel sprouts, and a side of truffle dressing. We got the ribeye medium rare, it was very soft and chewy, the mash potato is so creamy and it melts your mouth. The truffle dressing is for the steak and you cant have it without the dressing. The brussel sprouts are already perfectly seasoned and the best i had. By the end of the day, I would have the lava maki any time of the day, week, and year. As for dessert, we got the butter cake. It was none of our birthdays but Justin noticed me oooh-ing at another table's birthday cake with a torch candle, he decided to give us a torch candle as well 😆 the torch ended our night with a big smile. We will definitely be back again!”
“Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Adachi! First time in - Service was excellent. Host was very proper, our server was professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. We loved the atmosphere of the whole resturant as well. My husband LOVED his food. He's a sushi guy and trys it everywhere we go. Adachi far surpassed his favorite place by a mile. He enjoyed every bite. Im allergic to seafood so I got the beef fried rice and thats the only reason why im knocking a star. I did not enjoy my meal. The beef was super chewy and the whole bowl was kind fo one note. Did not like the flavor of the meal. We got the homemade chocolate ice cream for dessert and it was so creamy and rich. Really good!! Over all, very nice experience!”
“Came here for a Friday date night definitely a lively atmosphere, though a large nearby group got quite rowdy, which took away from the experience a bit (at one point someone even stumbled into our table and the waiter). Not sure if this was a one off or typical for them on Friday night. On the food side, there were some highlights. The strawberry basil mocktail was excellent, and the Zenko roll was the standout, super fresh and bright with a touch of lime. The braised beef bao buns were also very good. The nigiri was decent but didn’t quite wow us, while my husband enjoyed the Wagyu burger. Service was a bit uneven, water refills weren’t attentive, and my husband ended up refilling our glasses since the pitchers were nearby. Overall, a fun spot with some strong dishes just be prepared for a more energetic vibe. Reservations are recommended, and we were able to find street parking nearby.”
