Daebak Korean BBQ

“This place is really fantastic! I had never been to a Korean BBQ so I wasn't sure what to expect, but boy did this place make an impression on me! I was in a group of 4, we opted for a reservation at 4:30 on a Saturday to hopefully beat the rush. We were seated promptly and given menus. There is a button at your table to press when you want service, we were unaware so we sat around for maybe 10 minutes wondering what to do. Once we finally pressed our button we were able to order and we opted for the meal for 4. This meal is a seriously good deal for a group of 4, and we loved all the options! Cooking was a breeze and everything was so delicious. Highly recommend the corn cheese and the sweet honey garlic rice cake sticks. As the dinner rush started, service slowed even with our button dinging for assistance. That was our only complaint. Otherwise we cannot wait to come back, and highly recommend this place!”

“Enjoyed my time here! It’s like an all inclusive place. It’s a building that consists of three separate shops. It has a cute kpop store (pretty overpriced😔), the Myomee ice cream & boba shop, and of course Daebak. I went with four others close to noon. It wasn’t busy for a saturday. We were able to come early despite our reservation that was set for later at 1, they didn’t mind (maybe because it wasn’t busy). We were seated quickly and at a nice spot! We had a great server who knew all about the menu. We did the group of 4 combo thing which is I believe is $129. But I would say you can DEFINITELY have up to 8 people eat to satisfaction meat wise because there was plenty!!! We couldn’t finish it all. It gives 4 rices, a spicy sesame salad (delicious btw), and a set of sides including 1 more free refill on them. Kimchi (really spicy!🌶️), potatoes, green bean & carrot, and pickled radish. You also get a steamed egg pot and miso soup which was the best i’ve tried. As for the sauces for the meat you get both unsalted and salted sesame oil, and sesame paste. I asked for their chili sauce which wasn’t spicy but I preferred it. They have a nice tall refreshing pitcher of water which didn’t taste very “tappy” on your table. Their shrimp dumplings were delicious! Fried so nice and the soy sauce was not too salty. The corn cheese was not my personal favorite because I don’t care for peas. My personal favorite meat was the spicy pork! Great spice to it and not tough. All of the meat was good quality, especially the steak which had beautiful marbling on it!! It almost looked like wagyu. Their alcoholic drinks are overpriced, I know it’s nice to have one at your dinner, but my friend paid $18 for the Bohae drink that’s $9 next door at Tiger Market, which is where i’m sure they get the drinks for their alcohol menu.😅 Pro tip is to buy from the market instead. Overall I liked this KPOT and would bring other friends here! 🍲🍚”

“Loved the atmosphere at this place! We were seated in the back area, which was quiet and private. We tried a variety of dishes, which were all delicious. The favorite ended up the seafood pancake. It was fresh, with a perfect texture. The Korean wings were also exceptional. We will definitely come back!”

“I have come here a couple of times and really enjoyed the quality of the food and the ambiance is really nice. The only complaint I have is that the staff doesn’t check up on you. You constantly have to press the call button on your table if you need anything. That shouldn’t happen at a higher quality restaurant”

“Daebak was a fun experience! The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We ended up bringing home more than half of what we were served (leftovers for a few more meals). Our server took the time to explain what to expect and about how long to grill each meat for desired results. It was very loud though. The restaurant would be even better with sound dampening panels. The servers could barely hear what people were saying.”
