The Cultured Pearl Restaurant & Sushi Bar

“I was recently in Rehoboth for vacation and was lucky enough to have dinner at The Cultured Pearl. This was by far one of the best meals I had while on vacation. I ordered 3 sushi rolls (Signature Cultured Pearl Roll, Japan Bagel Roll, Maryland Roll) - They were all so good, I cleared my plate. I also got their signature martini with a wasabi filled olive that was perfect along side the fish. The atmosphere was awesome inside and out. We were lucky enough to be seated on their outdoor rooftop seating with koi fish pond right behind us, which I loved to much. The inside was also stunning! All the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. I would definitely suggest this if you are in Rehoboth looking for good food!”

“I've meant to visit the Cultured Pearl for a while but never was able to until tonight. I was blown away by the atmosphere which feels ultra cozy. I love the sakura blossoms and the koi ponds leading into the restaurant. The food itself exceeded all expectations in every way! The miso was a rich umami taste complemented by the seaweed, I almost wish I ordered a second bowl! For entree, I went with a firecracker roll and a Mexican roll - our server said the firecracker was the most popular order tonight, and I soon found out why. The flavors danced together in perfect harmony, especially the kick of heat from the jalapeno. Despite it being on the more expensive side, I wish I had gotten a second one! On top of all that, the patio seating had a wonderful breeze as the sun was setting. With delicious food, wonderful staff, and gorgeous ambience, the Pearl really is one of Rehoboth's treasures. This was a fantastic evening out with my fiancee and her father, and we definitely want to come back in the future!”

“Although known for their sushi, they also serve incredible entrees. I had the beef terriyaki. The cubes of steak were juicy and tender and were smothered in a savory terriyaki glaze. For dessert, we shared the exquisite Vietnamese Coffee Creme Brulee which was sweet and crunchy with a perfect hint of coffee flavor. Service was knowledgable and friendly. Atmosphere was contemporary and energetic. Great place to enjoy Asian cuisine.”

“Love the vibe!! The decor is eclectic and brings a fun flair to the dining experience. Always greeted kindly by the staff and we got a seat with no wait (midweek & offseason). The menu was robust and sushi was solid. Cuts of fish on the tuna & salmon sashimi were thick. Rolls were a good portion for cost. We enjoyed the flavors. Our server was friendly but a bit aloof. Nice surprise to have a slice of cake to celebrate a birthday in our party. Still the best sushi in town! Plus they have gf soy sauce (tamari) upon request. We are excited to return!”

“Atmosphere was amazing. The koi fish pod was so beautiful to look at. We sat outside on the rooftop. Views 10/10 Server Ovi was great. He was attentive and got us whatever we needed and was there when we needed him. The food did take a while to come out. Which I understand it was packed and they have two floors and an indoor/outdoor. THE PRICING WAS OUTRAGEOUS. A strawberry lemonade was $10. The only reasonable explanation could be that we’re close to the beach… tourist pricing. But come on lol The ramen was terrible. The broth had no flavor. I got the chicken ramen. Chicken was boiled and cut into chunks. The dynamite roll was very small. It looked like miniature size sushi compared to a sushi roll at any other place. The taste was 6/10 Overall not a great experience paying almost $100 and not enjoying the food.”
