“This entire dining experience was incredible — if I could give more than five stars, I would! The service and hospitality were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. They even went out of their way to help celebrate my husband and me when noticing we were pregnant by surprising us with a cute mocktail. Very thoughtful management! The care, detail, and creativity put into each dish were amazing as well.”
“We were a group of 11 and we had reservations. Personally it was my first experience. But I give it a 10 out of 10. Food is a little spicy but I love spicy food. We order sangria for drinks. Manager was very friendly and understanding. The restaurant closed at 10:30 and we left after 11pm. I highly recommended if you want to try something new and excellent service”
“This was our first visit to Albanesi and we made a reservation for 4 people for 7:45pm on a Friday night. When we arrived, the place was packed, and we waited about 15 minutes past our reservation time for our table to finish being setup downstairs, where the bar is located. The entire space is chic and modern with touches of rustic charm, like the floor to ceiling tree trunk in the lower room. The lower space seemed just a bit louder than upstairs but it wasn't too bad, and we were able to have conversation and hear each other fine. Water was served promptly and refilled frequently while two at our table ordered drinks, a wine and mocktail. Service was impeccable with polite, friendly, and earnest service by everyone who stopped by our table, including the general manager Chris. We thoroughly enjoyed all items in the first and second courses which were brought out timely, eloquently explained, and thoughtfully plated. While we did request more of the bread towards the end of the first course, it never arrived, but it turns out we didn't need it. There were plenty of other delightful things to try in the second course and by the time the three entrees we selected for the table arrived, we knew we weren't going to finish it all. The perzhit, whipped goat cheese, and qofte were fan favorites at our table. Of the filet mignon, chicken, and gulash I would rate them in that order, as I personally found the salt level in the latter two dishes to be heavy-handed. Still, we were all sated to satisfaction, had a bit leftover for takeaway, and I capped off the meal with an espresso to go with the tiramisu dessert, which was a reasonable bite-sized portion after a heavy meal. Our dining companion with a nut allergy received rice pudding as his dessert alternative. As the birthday celebrant, I also received a scoop of black currant sorbet with a lit candle, which was a lovely gesture with which to conclude the evening. It was a long and luxurious meal that we all agree was quite the experience. I'm grateful that we were not rushed after settling the bill even though it was close to, or perhaps even a few minutes past, their closing time. Definitely worth the visit and would come back to try their other dishes!”
“The dining experience at Albanesi is unmatched across the Lehigh Valley. The food here is on another level and transcends dining from a simple meal into an experience. Service was superb as soon as we entered the building, and food came out fairly quickly. The ambiance was quiet, dark, and romantic. The food itself was incredibly varied in both taste and texture which allowed you to get a full spectrum of flavors. The main entrees of duck and chicken were excellent, most notably the duck which sat upon on our table and vanished within a few minutes. Tender and succulent, truly incredible. By the time the dessert course came out we were feeling full, yet not overly so. The portions were expertly crafted. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for an amazing experience”
“My family and I had the most wonderful birthday dinner this evening at Albanesi, and I can confirm that it’s worth the hype! The menu changes a bit quite frequently (first Wednesday of each month) as a set first and second course(s) and chosen 3rd main course. We went for the garlic artichoke ravioli, monkfish (YUM) and goulash. I’m a pescatarian, and the serving team went above and beyond to provide me additional veggie-friendly alternatives and meat-free alternatives. Several of the cocktails can be made without alcohol as well — loved the pistachio drink! In addition to the food, the service really stood out (not something I usually pay much attention to, I must say!). The service team reached out before about any dietary restrictions/celebrations and our server Maddie was very knowledgeable and would even make cute like napkin shapes whenever someone from our table went to the bathroom! Albanesi truly has some of the best service I’ve experienced while eating out. Overall, my family and I will definitely recommend Albanesi and will be back for special occasions!”
