“Chanced upon this restaurant while strolling at the tianguis analco on a Sunday. It’s located at the corner of the colourful Analco sign. Excellent menu selections although the beef shank I wanted was out of stock. We had the beef consommé, a fish tostada, a suckling pig with mole. And the corn was on the house! Wonderful flavours in all! Must try!”

“Salon Mezcalli is a must-visit. The food is original, a little exotic, and packed with incredible flavor. Every dish felt intentional and unique. We tried the tostada de fideo and lengua—easily a standout. The flavors were complex, rich, and perfectly balanced, and the tostada itself held together the whole time (which says a lot). The mezcal tasting from Puebla was another highlight—smooth, flavorful, and a great experience overall. To finish, the chocolate dessert balls were absolutely out of this world. If you’re looking for something different, elevated, and memorable, this place delivers.”

“Great food, amazing service. The location is slightly out of the way, but definitely worth a visit because it's considerably cheaper than all of the more popular places near the historic centre but just as good if not better.”

“Me and my dad came here for dinner. The drinks were really good. The atmosphere was comfy and clean, not too loud, just nice to sit and enjoy. For the appetizer we had a quesadilla with bugs in it, which sounds kind of crazy but it was actually really good. I got the tamale with mole for my main and it was super tasty, really full of flavor. They also gave us a complimentary elote which was a nice surprise. The service was good too. Everyone was friendly and checked on us the right amount, not too much but not ignoring us either. Overall it was a really good dinner and we were both happy we came.”

“Excellent early dinner before going to the arena. Staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and with great suggestions for both food and mezcal. Food was tasty, balanced and complex with great local products. The mezcalinas were absolutely delicious. Overall we had a really nice and fun evening before enjoying 2 hours of lucha libre!”
