Tigerlily is a Japanese restaurant in the Ferndale neighborhood of Ferndale.
“Had a really nice dinner at TigerLily in Ferndale. The food was very good, but the absolute must try is the bone marrow sushi. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but honestly worth it. It’s one of those dishes you have to try at least once. The drinks were also pretty good and the overall service was solid. The only small thing was that one of my drinks took a little longer than expected, and I had to follow up on it. Not a huge deal though, and it definitely wouldn’t stop me from coming back. Overall, great food, good atmosphere, and a place I’d still give 5 stars. The bone marrow sushi alone makes it worth the visit.”
“My buddy recommended Tigerlily in Ferndale, and we came in expecting sushi—but this place is definitely not your typical sushi spot, and honestly, that’s what makes it so great. We grabbed seats at the bar, and I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to our bartender (I’m seriously kicking myself for not remembering her name). She was absolutely top-notch—super attentive, friendly, and just brought an awesome energy to the whole experience. She had this incredible sleeve tattoo with Marilyn Monroe that really stood out—such a cool touch and fits the vibe of the place perfectly. I ended up going with the breakfast platter with over-medium eggs and sausage, and wow… the sausage was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly, and you can tell they really focus on quality. Paired it with a mimosa that was just as good—fresh, balanced, and exactly what I wanted. Between the food, the drinks, the service, and the overall atmosphere, this place just hits on every level. Tigerlily has a super cool, unique vibe that makes you want to hang out and soak it all in. Can’t wait to come back and check out their dinner menu next time. Highly recommend!”
“My salad was massive—definitely up there as one of my favorite dishes! The only available seating was at the bar, which was totally fine since we didn’t plan ahead. I would recommend making reservations if you’re hoping to sit in the dining area. The atmosphere was cool and I liked the ambiance, but it didn’t quite match the energy in the room—it was really loud and hard to hear conversations or the music. On the plus side, everything was super clean.”
“Sat at the bar at TigerLily and the service was A1. Great conversation, good laughs, and solid vibes all around. Had the threeway breakfast sandwich, steak and eggs, and pancakes. The sandwich was tasty but chaotic, too much sauce and thick tomato slices turned it into a fork-and-knife situation pretty fast. Steak and eggs were flavorful and cooked exactly how we asked, though the potatoes were seasoned pretty aggressively. The pancakes stole the show. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, butter doing butter things. Worth the visit alone. I see chocolate in my future visit on them. Overall a solid 4 out of 5 and I’d definitely go back, especially for bar seating and pancakes.”
“Overall, the experience was really mid. The food wasn’t anything spectacular, and the service left a lot to be desired. The food was described as spicy on the menu, but found that the veggies were more spicier than the chicken. Waited a good 15 minutes before the server came to our table. Perhaps the sushi and drinks are what make this restaurant spectacular, however I don’t see myself coming back to try them out.”
