“I always love dining at Ricci! My favorite dishes are the lasagne and the pizza margarita, but everything is delicious. I had absolute exceptional service from Ellivia this time 🥰 She was so kind and helpful and wrote notes on all our takeout boxes! I would definitely recommend coming for good food, a nice modern environment, and kind staff.”

“My friend, her boyfriend, and I had a wonderful dinner at Ricci! We were initially seated near the pizza oven, which made things a little too toasty for our liking, but the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and happily moved us to a more comfortable table. The meal started with some of the softest bread I’ve had in a long time. It was warm, fluffy, and perfect for dipping into the olive oil. We could have easily eaten an entire basket! My friend and I shared the filet mignon with whipped potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked beautifully, the potatoes practically melted in your mouth, and the asparagus spears were fresh and flavorful. We also split the seafood pasta, and the portion was enormous! Loaded with seafood and packed with flavor, it was just as impressive as the steak. My friend ordered an espresso martini, which was smooth, delicious, and the perfect complement to the meal. By the end of dinner, we were absolutely stuffed and couldn’t even make room for dessert—which is probably the best sign of a satisfying meal. Great food, generous portions, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’d gladly return!”

“I picked this restaurant after seeing a stellar review from a local foodie post on Facebook. They posted about the octopus. I was celebrating a 16th anniversary, so we decided to give Ricci a shot. They did not disappoint! Service was amazing. Our host was very hospitable. He made special seat arrangements for me. Reviewed the menu and made suggestions. The food was fabulous in every way! From the presentation to the techniques used, fresh ingredients and getting the food out hot. All was perfect. Compliments to the chef. You all made our evening more special and we are grateful for the experience. We will have to visit soon again.”

“​Ricci offers a truly delightful dining experience in Frederick. The highlight of the evening was the exceptional service, particularly from the manager, who hails from Nepali Italy. His charming and attentive demeanor provided some of the highest levels of customer service I have encountered, and I would absolutely return just for his fabulous hospitality. ​The fresh pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and skillfully prepared. The addition of freshly grated Parmesan cheese was a wonderful and authentic touch. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the seafood, which is a rare find in Frederick. ​A fascinating element of the restaurant's ambiance is the rotating brick oven—it was captivating to watch the food gently circle around the open flame while cooking. ​To conclude the meal, the desserts—the Bomba and the Crème Brûlée—were perfect. They were paired with a freshly brewed coffee that was perfectly balanced in both flavor and roast, creating an excellent finish to an already memorable dinner.”

“We have been to Ricci on a few occasions and I’ve always had a great experience. We don’t go out very often so we went there to celebrate my birthday. Our server was inept. It took 20 minutes to get a simple cocktail. The shrimp TNT appetizer had great presentation, but the shrimp was overcooked and tough. Just as our entrée arrived, the air conditioning failed. It was unbearable to stay, so we boxed up our dinners and the bottle of wine to head home. Our server took another 20 minutes and three trips to get our check, a bag for our meals, and a bag for the wine. Also, she gave us a different story about the air-conditioning than the server from the next table told their patrons. It was a very disappointing birthday.”
