“Went to Oak to Ember for a quick lunch, the food was delicious! Got the Birria tacos and brisket smash burger. Ordered a Bloody Mary that was huge and packed a kick which I love! Fantastic place, will def be back :)”
“Attended a private party on the semi-outdoor dining patio. Staff was very attentive to the guests. They have a good selection of draft beers. The food was excellent. The appetizers were very creative, my favorite was the smoked fish. The view of the harbor will be great once the lobster traps are no longer stored there:)”
“Five of us enjoyed excellent meals at Oak to Ember! They had a nice selection of alcoholic drinks and beers as well as dome non-alcoholic choices. The kale salad was an excellent addition to our meal. My wife loved the salmon with smoked artichokes and a delicious beet sauce. I had the baked haddock which included roasted potatoes, both if which were in a fabulous wine sauce similar to newburgh style. Others enjoyed the monk fish, steak and fish and chips.”
“We had our first Oak to Ember experience the other night, and we’re generally favorably impressed. The cocktails were excellent,m - I think I have found a new favorite in The Buzz - and the tuna tartare appetizer was terrific, served with house-made potato chips which was a really nice touch… and there were enough of them!!. It disappeared fast enough that I failed to get a picture of it, but it was ample. Our dinners were very good - loved the ribs, and my wife liked the salmon very much. The flourless chocolate cake had good flavor but was more dry and less “fishy” than I hope for in my hard-core chocolate desserts ;-) but we had no problem finishing it. Topping it all was the excellent service from Davia and Jackson, who were knowledgeable, on top of things (we never wanted for water), and engaging for the whole evening. We will definitely be back!”
“Very disappointed with my experience at Oak to Ember. We paid over $200 for lunch and the food was honestly terrible. The pasta arrived cold, the potatoes were completely soaked in oil, and I ordered what was supposed to be picanha steak, but what I received was a tiny, dry piece of meat that was clearly not the cut I paid for. For the price they charge, I expected much better quality, presentation, and overall experience. Unfortunately, it was not worth it at all. With $200, you can easily find a much more comfortable restaurant with far better food and service. I would not recommend this place.”
