“Very classy atmosphere. Food is absolutely delicious. well served large or small quantities still fill your appetite. The Picnic Basket, the Smores dessert with fire pit, and the Calamari bowl were a wonderful surprise. Each drink ( non or alcoholic) had it own spark too. Service with a smile, priceless!”

“I checked out Oxalis Restaurant recently, and it is easily one of the most refined dining experiences I have had in Nova Scotia. The space is small and intimate with a warm European feel that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the night. It feels less like going out to a restaurant and more like being invited in, which sets the tone right away. The food is where Oxalis really stands out, with thoughtful seasonal dishes that are beautifully presented without feeling overdone. Every plate feels intentional and the flavours back it up. If you go for the tasting menu it turns dinner into a full experience, with each course building on the last. Service was spot on as well, attentive and knowledgeable while still feeling relaxed. It is on the higher end price wise, but it feels worth it for a place you go to enjoy a special night.”
