Kumiso is a Japanese restaurant in the East Hampton neighborhood of East Hampton.
“Cute spot in East Hampton. The vegan ramen was good but not the best vegan ramen I've had, the noodles are gluten free so a little chewy. Nice avocado hand roll with warm rice and loved the palm and peaches salad. The orange tofu and eggplant nigiri are delicious. Nice cocktail menu and a cute bar area.”
“Kumiso East Hampton offers a delightful dining experience with its friendly service and flavorful dishes. The staff are welcoming, making you feel right at home. The food is unique and tasty, with a great variety of options to choose from. The unique twists on classic dishes make it an interesting and enjoyable experience. I tried the Piggy Ramen and while it’s not your traditional ramen, it was definitely tasty with bold flavors. The Super Mario Roll was a standout – I really enjoyed it! The decor is fun and funky, adding to the overall vibe of the place. Plus, the wall art by the Canadian artist is truly impressive, adding an extra layer of flair to the funky decor! Definitely worth a visit!”
“The food was good, the manager was rude and made us feel unwelcome. She would make comment that were very obviously about us. Our over all experience was dimmed do to her. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Overall score a 3 just because of the manager everything else was fine.”
“Horrible experience start to finish. We got there and immediately was met with rude staff. We sit down, and spend about 40 minutes looking at the obscenely expensive menu ($6 for a diet coke???) before ANY service was given to us. No asking if we wanted drinks, appetizers, if we were ready to order, NOTHING. Not to mention this was a Thursday night and we were literally some of the only people in the entire restaurant. Finally we flagged down a waitress to take our order and she immediately forgot about someone at our table’s very serious allergy. After ANOTHER 40 minutes our food finally came out and it was just terrible. My group are NOT picky eaters by any means and we LOVE eating but no one finished their food. The fish was terrible and didn’t taste fresh at all and none of the dishes were good, especially for their high price point. The cherry on top was at the end our waitress made a huge deal over having to split the bill and then the automatic tip options were obscenely high with the LOWEST being 20%?? This place had terrible service, terrible food, and was just grossly overpriced, save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.”
“Tuna crispy rice was not good… the tuna was cooked! The rice part was done correctly. Got a side of spicy mayo that just tasted like mayo, the miso soup tasted like ramen broth. But the side of ponzu was good.”
