Lamaii Henderson is a Thai restaurant in the Henderson neighborhood of Henderson.
“I’ve always been a fan of the Chinatown location, so while I was in the Henderson area, I decided to check this one out—and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere feels very familiar, with the same stylish décor, dramatic wine wall, and unique light fixtures that give the restaurant its modern, upscale feel. Most importantly, the food was just as consistent as the original location. I was especially excited to see they offer a happy hour menu. We ordered the Garlic Green Beans, Lobster Yum Takrai, and the Dok Lamaii specialty cocktail, which was refreshing and beautifully balanced. From the regular menu, we also ordered the Crab Fried Rice and Mango Crispy Catfish—both dishes arrived beautifully presented and full of texture, color, and bold ingredients that made each plate stand out. Service throughout the evening was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. If you’re in the Henderson area and craving elevated Thai cuisine in a stylish setting, this spot is definitely worth a visit.”
“I’m a big fan. From the parking lot I was a little unsure what to expect because their sign references modern cuisine and wine. Entering the restaurant I was immediately impressed by the beautifully designed space. I would describe it as ultra-contemporary Thai meets romantic steakhouse vibe. The restaurant has a great sound system and a modern mix of music played at unobtrusive levels. The visual and auditory experience blended well to make for a great dining atmosphere. Menu is Thai-fusion with a lot of dishes that were unfamiliar to me as connoisseur of Thai food. The specials of the day included Thai-themed sushi. I ordered the hamachi (yellowtail) served with ponzu, fresh Thai peppers, and a small piece of fried plantain for crunch. Amazing. Ordered Pad Kra with ground pork and added a fried egg on the top. Very flavorful. Great craft cocktail and wine selection. I ordered Thai beer to wash down the spice level I ordered ( 4 on a scale of 1 to 5). The restaurant prices are not cheap, but they are a good value based on the quality and quantity of the food served. Definitely going back.”
“Delicious! The flavours are so good!! I’ve been here for dinner before but today we came for the lunch specials which are $15. They come with a side of two small fried taro rolls and a soup of the day, which was a veggie soup today. We got the ginger beef, chicken pad see ew and drunken fried rice. It was quiet, I loved the ambiance and the decor in general. Definitely recommend.”
“Such a cute place.. great for a meet up with friends or a girls night. They even have a front patio area that's super cute to hang out. We had a big party and were there to celebrate.. the ambiance was nice and place clean and well kept. Food is amazing.... some of the very best I've had. Now... the service.. I felt the staff was not friendly.. They were rushing us and would pick up and rush the food out.. it's like they wanted us out in an hour. Mind you it's a dozen of us... and we are out to celebrate... so we will naturally take our time and enjoy. Overall I recommend the place and I will definitely visit again. The food was top notch.. Service definitely needs to be a bit more friendly.”
“My wife and I had reservations on a Saturday evening, but there were many open tables when we got there. We were seated promptly and drinks arrived very quickly. We tried a variety of dishes, including the green beans, Tom Yum soup, eggplant, chicken broccoli and a shrimp curry. Of course we had lots of leftovers. The service was fast. Very fast. Actually, too fast. It felt as though we were being rushed. I highly recommend you don't order all your food at once. Order your appetizer, when you're done, order your soup, when you're done, order your main dishes. If you don't do this, you'll end up with your soup and main dishes sitting on the table while you're eating your starter. The staff were very friendly and constantly checked in on us. As for the food, it was good, but the spice levels were very inconsistent. We ordered everything medium (choices were mild, medium & hot) but that's not what we got. The soup, I'm sure, was "hot" and the chicken dish was "mild" (and bland). The rest I would say was "medium". Knowing what I know now, I'll probably try Lamaii again.”
