“Lamaii has become our go-to for Thai food. Ever since we discovered it, we’ve brought just about all of our favorite people here. The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent—attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1)Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2)Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3)Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It’s hearty enough to share. 4)Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that’s rich and creamy without being overly sweet—the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There’s also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying—smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. If you’re looking for a spot with great atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that are consistently well-executed, Lamaii is always a solid choice.”

“One of the best Thai meals I've had in a while. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Chicken Satay and Mango Sticky Rice were the best ever. The Lobster dish was excellent, as well as the Pork Belly and the Thai Iced Tea. The Tom Kha was very tasty as well, but the chicken was a bit dry. The wine list is superb and the service was top notch, as well. I will be back the next time I'm in Vegas.”

“Today I came to eat at Lamai Restaurant near Chinatown. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the shrimp in fish sauce, which was amazing. I ordered several dishes along with cocktails. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean, with a great atmosphere and nice music. The servers who took care of me today were Kim and Chompoo. Both of them were very sweet, friendly, and attentive. They gave great food recommendations and took wonderful care of me throughout the meal.”

“This restaurant has a small menu and it usually has some chef specials. The food was good but a little bit on the expensive side. The ambiance is beautiful and is a good spot for special occasions. For appetizers we ordered the Wing Zaap and the Chicken Roti Satay. I feel the chicken roti satay is kind of expensive for the size of the dish. The peanut dipping sauce was outstanding though. The Wing Zaap was really good but I thought they would provide the dish with some type of dipping sauce. For the mains we ordered the Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns, Chicken Pad Thai and the the Duck Basil Fried Rice. The Herb Crispy Prawn reminded me of the prawn dish in Lotus of Siam. The dish was garlicky and the prawns were sweet and good. The chicken pad thai was average. The Duck Basil Fried was good. I took a level 2 out of 5 for spicy but it still had got some kick to it. The best part of the dish was that the duck was super succulent and delicious. The dish was good and kept me wanting for more.”

“Crispy Prawns are popular here and we'd say that's a MUST GET ITEM here, especially for ppl who similarly love the original Lotus of Siam location version. Western Thai Wine Restaurant with RSVP needed (extremely crowded on a Saturday night). They are understaffed but very nice. You'll leave ridiculously dehydrated due to how much fish sauce to masking salty taste was added into the food for flavor. For anyone sensitive, you'll feel very bloated, good hangover and thirsty until the next day. Overall, be prepared for a very long wait, and service. We were able to entertain ourselves. And they treated us pretty well. What's not for us, doesn't mean it's not for others? Maybe this could be a kind stepping stone or fusion taste of Thai food? I'm sure this place will be full of people ordering the typical western to mainstream dishes like Pad Thai. We are not normally into fusion or westernized Thai food. That doesn't mean we won't be able to enjoy more elevated versions, or westernized versions. It needs to make sense. For elevated places, the quality needs to match the price. I'm expecting higher grade meats to higher quality ingredients = not supposed to feel food hangover after. I swear we were so thirsty, nonstop drinking water and electrolytes all night and the next day. That's not a good sign. I don't even think I get that thirsty from eating Panda Express. Luckily we weren't gassy which means their protein were decent quality. There are other reviewers with similar experiences too so it wasn't just us. If you come from places with less of any of these communities around than Vegas might be great for you in all of them? Compared to many or all local Vegas friends, we are more picky with our Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Mexican taste in food. Many of which Vegas is not well-known for. But”
