“Night + Market Sahm hit me with Thai food so good I’m pretty sure it rewired my DNA. I sat down all confident, ready to take photos like a responsible foodie, then the sweet potato massaman landed and I instantly transformed into a fork-wielding raccoon. Two pics, no dignity, just pure curry-powered chaos. The Pad Thai tasted like the noodle gods finally forgave me for every bad takeout order I’ve ever made. Every dish was a slam dunk. Music was stupid loud, but if you’re gonna drown in noise, Dire Straits is the way to go. I thought Mark Knopfler himself was about to stroll out and ask if we wanted our MTV. But honestly, great tunes, great chaos, absolute 5 stars.”

“Really laid back and eccentric Thai spot in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles. The hostess was very nice and quick to get us seated. The interior is fun and stylish. The ordering still is family so make sure you get everything ready to order at once. The wine selection is killer. The food was out of this world. So much flavor packed into typical Thai dishes. By far the best Thai I’ve had. I couldn’t put the lamb larb down. The short rib beef panang was to die for. The mango stick rice was the perfect finish. Bring some friends, order too much food, get a bottle of wine or two, and have a great time.”

“The restaurant was packed and very loud. Like where you have to really raise your voice and lean forward to hear the other person while sitting at a 2 person table. I had to wait for the other person in my party before being seated. The food was very good, and when they say spicy, they mean it, so be careful. Reasonably priced. The waitstaff was attentive but not annoying. I recommend you make reservations, though you may get seated if you walk in - I didn’t see anyone getting turned away or too much of a line being formed, but every table was occupied. The portions were plentiful enough to share and my companion and I both went home with to-go containers. The parking situation can be challenging - I didn’t see much of a parking lot so you have to circle a couple blocks to find street parking. It’s an unassuming one story building on the corner with a high traffic street in front. The inside is festive and colorful with garlands of artificial flowers hanging down from the ceiling. Tables with plastic coverings and ordinary kitchen chairs. You’ll have to hold your purse in your lap because there’s no room on the table, no extra chairs and no purse hooks.”

“Must order all food at once, so that was annoying. Wine and dessert can be ordered again. 5/5 Tom Khar Gai Hot Pot - favorite dish! Very flavorful 5/5 Crab Wonton - generous crab meat 4/5 Larb 4/5 Pad Thai 4/5 Panang Neua 1/5 Crispy Five Spice Pork Belly - not a fan since it was rolled in cumin 4/5 Mango & Coconut Rice Clean bathroom Street parking in the front and in the neighborhood”
