Vieni Ristobar is an Italian & Pizza restaurant in the Holly Springs neighborhood of Holly Springs.
“This restaurant is a gem. The food was very flavorful and not overly cheesy. We loved everything we tried. Emma took great care of us. We will definitely be back.”
“My goal for my birthday was to eat a pappardelle dish and this was one of the two places I found with that item on their menu. Every dish we had was exceptionally delicious and my expectations were beyond knocked out of the park. Service was wonderful. It's a bit loud and can be hard to hear your party but would go back every time. Family friendly for anyone wondering who hasn't been. (Pictured: white bean chicken soup of the day, bruschetta, pappardelle Bolognese, and sausage and peppers) Drinks not pictures were absolutely magnificent and fresh!”
“You’d think you were at neighborhood Italian restaurant in NYC. Great creative cocktails and homey comfort foods from classic chicken parm to pasta carbonara to my favorite pesto gnocchi. I would travel to Holly Springs just for this place! And the people are very welcoming and friendly providing excellent service. It makes for a memorable dining experience.”
“First, let me say our waitress was amazing very sweet, hard-working and very warm welcoming. Taller lady, I think her name was Ann. We enjoyed our appetizers and the bread! My family all enjoyed their plates, but mine was extremely salty. I would say if you like eggplant Parmesan just know that they put a lot of salt. It seems in their dish for that. The place is really beautiful! Great Italian atmosphere.”
“I would like to share feedback about a recent visit to your restaurant and bring attention to some service issues that significantly affected our experience. My friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. At the time of our visit, the restaurant was not busy — only about five tables were occupied. Both of us ordered an appetizer and a main course. The first issue occurred when only one appetizer was brought to the table and placed in the center, while we were informed that the second appetizer would take longer to prepare. As a result, one guest was expected to eat while the other simply sat and watched. Approximately ten minutes passed before the second appetizer arrived. In my opinion, when guests are dining together, courses should ideally be served at the same time whenever possible. If there is a delay, the staff should at least offer the option to hold the first dish until both are ready. Serving food to only one guest at the table creates an uncomfortable dining experience. The second issue was even more disappointing. After finishing my appetizer, I placed my knife and fork crossed on the plate, clearly indicating that I had finished the course. When the server brought my entrée, she placed it in front of me, then picked up the dirty utensils from my used appetizer plate and attempted to hand them back to me to use with my main course. I was honestly shocked by this. Reusing dirty utensils from a finished course for a newly served entrée is unacceptable in any dining establishment and falls far below basic standards of hospitality and service. It felt disrespectful and unhygienic. It is especially disappointing because the food itself was excellent. Every dish we received was delicious, and the kitchen clearly did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, the service experience overshadowed the quality of the food. We left a tip because we appreciated the work of the kitchen staff, but the service left such a negative impression that we are unlikely to return or recommend the restaurant to friends and family. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity for additional staff training. The quality of the food deserves a level of service that matches it.”
