Feast and Floret is an Italian restaurant in the Historic District neighborhood of Hudson.
“Everything about this restaurant was spot on. It had an incredibly cute and cozy atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff, and beautifully executed food and drinks. One of the best gnocchi, and tiramisu dishes I’ve ever had!”
“One of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. Staff was welcoming food came out quickly. I cannot recommend this wine enough!!! If I had to make a recommendation, I would say split a ton of appetizers and one or two mains.”
“Was in town for a weekend and I asked a local what the best restaurant was. Feast & Floret was their answer. It didn’t disappoint. Very packed on a Friday night but it was great weather and a sidewalk table was available. Quiet street - delicious food and socials. The blistered snap peas were incredible. The pasta, too, was excellent. Nothing in excess. Great dining experience.”
“Wow. First of all, this is a beautiful restaurant. It’s comfortable and kind of rustic but also modern. They work with local florist and there are wildflowers and greenery everywhere. Huge fireplace made it so cozy in the main dining room. The service was top notch, everyone was friendly and smooth, really good at their jobs. Didn’t walk in with any expectations but the food was special. They’re really making incredible use of open flame cooking. The grilled flatbread and the charred carrots and grilled broccoli rabe were outstanding. And the pastas! The tagliatelle bolognese is a white bolognese and stands up with any that I’ve ever had. If you’re in or near Hudson, give this place a try. It’s a really special place doing a lot of amazing open flame cooking with local produce and making incredible pasta in house.”
“Dinner at Feast & Floret. Everything was cooked perfectly and plated to warm your appetite. Starting with the escarole salad and two specials of the night: -(Chitarra Pasta) with homemade brined sardines -(Turnips) in a creamy truffle sauce. For the main: Chicken Milanesa and Short Ribs over Polenta. The pasta was a perfect Al Dente and the Polenta was a nice texture of light and creamy. The tenderness of the Short Ribs was a wonderful compliment to the Polenta. In addition to the warm decor (atmosphere), the staff is welcoming and laid back but, also attentive. Located in the city of Hudson NY and nearby Catskill, Feast and Floret offers a refined dining experience. Within walking distance to other area favorites. If you're in town for the day or weekend there are plenty of things to do before or after lunch/dinner. Walk along Warren St and visit all the different shops (coffee, cheese, wine, clothing, art, antiques, theater, books and more).”
