“Ive been a few times to the Tribeca location where customer service started to lose the priority it once was Fast forward to my dinner last night at the hudson yard location… it was gorgeous and buzzing. The bar was packed and i asked the host if there were any seats since nothing opened at the bar for 20 minutes, and she was so professional and courteous and we were lucky and got seated immediately We ordered the Caesar salad , the razor clams and the red shrimp lamache and some glasses of wine from a good selection The salad was very good i wouldn’t call it caesar but it was very delicious … tasted more like a mint and anchovy based dressing The razor clams although the portion size was barely visible it was absolutely delicious… that mignonette they put was so refreshing bright with perfect balance of acidity and sweetness to the hint of brine. Then the pasta at first I thought i would be disappointed since it looked a little anemic BUT the flavor was distinct and fantastic … so classy and surprisingly fully of depth I loved it Hopefully for the price they’ll add a couple more razor clams (2 felt unfair) but the flavor made up for that”

“I brought my very high maintenance girlfriend here. She’s very critical when warranted. As soon as we walked in, she complimented the atmosphere and bar. Okay, so things are going great! We arrived early and were immediately seated, now things are going even better. Server almost immediately comes to our table to take our drink order and in (I’m not kidding) 60 seconds we had our drinks! Started with the tuna crudo for an app, it was delicious. For our mains we ordered the ravioli, lasagna and the Brussel sprouts, and as soon as they cleared our app plate, the food arrived. The lasagna was a rich cheesy lasagne with the perfect crisp on the noodles. And the ravioli had the most delicious red sauce and it was filled the with most decadent and delicious filling. The brussel sprouts had the right amount of crisp with a balsamic vinegar glaze and they were cooked to perfection. The food was so good, that when I asked my girlfriend at the end of the meal what her favorite part was, she couldn’t pick. If you know her (I hope you don’t), she’s filled with many opinions…and strong ones. Highly recommend Locanda Verde for date nights for anyone with a picky significant other. It’s a winner!”

“My coworker's and I sat at the bar for a late lunch. Everything was absolutely delectable. I had the Caesar salad, Chitarra Nero, pistachio cake, and sorbet; it was truly mouth-watering. The bar tender was friendly, personable, and welcoming. I highly recommend and will be back for a date night!”

“Fantastic meal, beautiful interior and great service. The arugula salad was delicious and light. My mom had the Cesar salad which was fantastic, more of a green goddess type dressing. The paparadelle was very good. Others had the fusilli which was a little too salty, the ravioli which was also good but maybe a little bland and the Luca he which was good but was a little heavy on the butter”

“Great food and wine, but outdoor seating may come with slower service. The weather was nice, so we decided to sit outside. The experience started off strong, our server and wine specialist were both attentive while taking our order. We ordered a few appetizers along with our mains but everything ended up coming out at the same time which made the table feel a bit rushed. Right after the food arrived, the server asked if there is anything needed and asked for a spicy sauce on the side. Unfortunately, the sauce never came, and no one checked on us again for the rest of the meal. The food itself was flavorful and the wine selection was solid but service definitely felt lacking once we were seated outside. 👉Indoor seating might give you a better overall service experience.”
