“We had such a special experience at Chickie’s in Jersey City for our anniversary! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, but what truly made the night unforgettable was the staff. Not only was the service attentive and friendly throughout our meal, but they went out of their way to surprise us with a handwritten, personalized card celebrating our anniversary. That small, thoughtful gesture meant so much to us! It felt genuine and heartfelt, not something you come across often. It turned an already great dinner into a memory we’ll always cherish. Between the delicious food and the incredibly kind staff, Chickie’s gave us a perfect night. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Had an amazing experience at Chickie’s! The service was outstanding from start to finish. Huge shoutout to our server, Dayna, who was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. The food was absolutely excellent. The vibe is the perfect balance of fun but still chill, making it a great spot to relax, enjoy yourself or a nice date night. And a big thank you to Natalie for making the best martini I’ve ever had. Everything was top notch, and we’ll definitely be back when we visit again! Highly recommend!!!”

“Tried Chickies in Jersey City recently and had the crispy fish sandwich and the shrimp scampi pie—both were seriously impressive. The crispy fish sandwich was exactly what the name promises—perfectly fried with a golden, crunchy exterior and tender, flaky fish inside. The sandwich was well-balanced, with a flavorful sauce and fresh toppings that didn’t overpower the fish. The shrimp scampi pie was a standout. Loaded with garlic, butter, herbs, and a generous amount of shrimp, it had bold flavors without being too heavy. Service was friendly.”

“The lobster pasta was good, I would rather the pieces of lobster be already in the pasta vice having to crack the claw and dig out the meat from the shell, I would prefer some garlic in it as well. The pizza portion and flavor were good. I wish they would offer a side salad or bread while you wait for your order to come out but they do not. The interior in this establishment is cozy and elegant. The place is kind of small and a little too dimly lit but the service in this establishment provided a pleasurable experience. I would come back.”

“Liked everything but the food. The location is great - by Hamilton Park, coffee shops, very walkable, and we found parking with no issues. The service was great. We first sat outside, got our food, but our boys got cold, so the servers moved us and all our food inside with no issues. But we were not impressed with the food. Pizza was dry and hard. Very far from pizza served at good Italian restaurants; pasta with seafood was just ok.”
