“I have never been to a restaurant this nice before. The staff was so friendly and the environment was intimate. Every dish was an experience and did not disappoint. The complementing flavors and textures were so special and thoughtful. The presentation was beautiful. This was such a memorable meal and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, especially for a special date or celebration.”
“This is a truly elegant and posh establishment that delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt refined and welcoming, setting the stage for a memorable evening. The staff was absolutely wonderful—professional, attentive, and clearly well trained. A special acknowledgment goes to our server, Pearl, along with the food runner, who were both outstanding. Each dish was presented with care and explained in detail, which added a thoughtful and elevated touch to the experience. Their knowledge, poise, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The food itself was nothing short of amazing. Not only were the flavors outstanding, but the presentation of each dish was beautifully executed—artful, refined, and visually impressive. It was clear that great care went into every plate, making the meal as enjoyable to look at as it was to eat. Overall, this establishment exceeds expectations with its elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and beautifully presented cuisine. It is the kind of place that takes pride in every detail, and it shows. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, upscale dining experience.”
“Salt & the Cellar delivered an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. I booked the reservation through OpenTable for a dinner with a former colleague, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The highlights started immediately with the Akira Back Tuna Pizza, perfectly executed, with micro shiso and white truffle oil adding just the right balance of freshness and richness. The Spanish Octopus was tender and flavorful, and the 14oz NY Strip was cooked exactly as ordered, with a clean, high-quality cut that spoke for itself. The AB Wagyu Tacos were another standout. The tomato ponzu and gochujang added depth without overpowering the wagyu, and the balance of textures was spot on. Cocktails were equally impressive, the Smoked Old Fashioned made with High & Wicked bourbon and Trinity bitters was smooth, well-constructed, and a great complement to the meal. The real surprise of the night, though, was the Hot Mess Specialty Roll. Hands down, it was the best sushi roll I’ve ever had. The rice was the perfect consistency, something many places miss and the combination of sashimi poke, chuka wakame, and spicy ponzu aioli was exceptional. Every bite was balanced, clean, and genuinely memorable. Between the quality of the food, thoughtful execution, and overall atmosphere, Salt & the Cellar lives up to its reputation. I’d absolutely return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a refined but approachable dining experience.”
“What an amazing experience! The setting outside was serene and natural. The tea selection is second to none with a huge selection of Mariage Frères Parisian teas. Wendy was our host and she epitomized the elegance and customer-focused service levels of the entire staff at ette. The food was simply delicious. The sandwiches scrumptious, the scone was the best ever and the pastries over the top. Most items are also gluten free If you are ever looking for an afternoon experience to remember… make it happen at ette.”
“I stayed at Ette hotel for 2 nights and ate dinner here two nights. The atmosphere and service at this restaurant is lovely. Staff is attentive and enjoyable to interact with. I found the food price to quality being provided overpriced. Dishes I had Oysters Trio: This was the worst dish I had. Coming in at $60+ I was extremely disappointed. The menu lists Kumamoto oysters in some spots so I made the assumption that is what they were. After ordering I found out they were from Virginia. I love oysters and to be frank these oysters were not good. I would avoid this dish if you’re an avid oyster fan. I think they were shucked and then transplanted into different shells Octopus - light fry. Good bite. Not a huge portion but it was enjoyable. Wagyu Beef Tacos - elevated ground beef taco. Tasty but once again felt overpriced for a Wagyu ground beef taco. I was hoping for slices. Duck Breast - perfectly cooked. Delicious. Overall I found the restaurant good but they try to use the word Michelin a lot. This is not a Michelin restaurant. It is a good restaurant in Orlando that is priced 25% over what I would think it should be.”
