“Made a reservation. Highly recommend. Fantastic service. Food was incredible. Lombardo's starter salad, lasagna, side of meatballs (the absolute best), and chocolate cake. Celebrating Nurses Week. Happy Nurses Week to all the nurses! Thanks Sam L and Jessica!”
“My boyfriend and I ate here yesterday for the first time. Our server was Michael C. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We did make reservations and were seated right away. There was a musician playing the piano which was nice. Most of the food was excellent! I was disappointed with the tiramisu and cappuchino but the chocolate cake was scrumptous. Both of our entrees were delicious as well. I adore when restaurants offer free bread for the table. The cheese and peppers were an excellent touch! Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and we plan to come back again. Thank you!”
“Food was just ok. Truffle fries and bread was the best part of the meal. We got the lasagna and chicken parmigiana, it was just ok. Not worth the price for small portions. The atmosphere was amazing. They have a man playing piano and it was delightful.”
“I recently dined at Lombardo’s Italian Restaurant and unfortunately left disappointed. The experience started with the salad, which appeared old and not fresh. The lettuce seemed past its prime, and a few slices of pepperoni were added in what appeared to be an attempt to make it an “Italian” salad. Unfortunately, it lacked both authenticity and flavor. The restaurant’s décor was also puzzling. Large wall photos and wallpaper featuring Italian people and scenes seemed intended to create an Italian atmosphere, but the overall effect felt forced rather than inviting. One particularly large image of an Italian man sitting on a couch overlooking the dining room was more distracting than charming. The furniture did not help matters. The purple velour chairs with wrap-around arms were uncomfortable and made it difficult to find a natural place to rest your arms while dining. Service was equally underwhelming. Our server was curt, almost military-like in his responses, and showed very little personality or warmth. The most unusual moment came when a staff member approached our table asking if we wanted boxes for our meals while we were clearly still eating. It felt rushed and awkward. As for the food, it was average at best. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan, which was acceptable but nothing memorable. My wife ordered the Gemelli pasta and enjoyed it more than I enjoyed my meal. The atmosphere never felt like an Italian restaurant. Instead of traditional dinner music that would complement the dining experience, rock music played throughout the meal. I even asked if something more appropriate for a dinner setting could be played, but the request was met with a puzzled look and the music remained unchanged. Overall, the food was merely okay, the service lacked warmth, and the atmosphere missed the mark. If you’re simply looking for a quick meal, Lombardo’s may suffice. However, if you’re looking for a welcoming Italian dining experience with authentic ambiance, attentive service, and memorable food, I would look elsewhere.”
“It is astonishing that they charge $10 for chicken, yet the quality is subpar. The chicken pieces appear to have been directly taken from a can and placed in a container. Furthermore, the taste is unappetizing. I strongly advise against wasting your money on this product.”
