“10/10 experience at Lost Fox Inn. My fiancée and I stayed over at the Inn which was beautifully designed, clean, quiet and romantic. We had dinner at the tavern and their new chef Thomas Burke is absolutely incredible. Michelin Star-level menu and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The bar is so cool too. It keeps the feel of being from the 1740s (because it is) while also being upscale. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, happy hour, dinner, or a wedding venue, Lost Fox Inn is the perfect destination.”

“What a charming, cozy and beautiful Inn. Gabby checked us in and was so kind and welcoming. The room was large and cozy with a terrace that you could sit and have coffee outside or just take in the beautiful views. We had dinner at the Tavern and was incredible. Food, service and atmosphere 5 stars. Don’t miss the smash burger or the beet salad. Highly recommend both the Inn and the Tavern.”

“Our stay at The Lost Fox Inn truly couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so genuinely welcome, warm, attentive, and effortlessly kind. My boyfriend kept turning to me and saying, “Everyone here is so nice.” And it was true. Not in a performative way, just sincerely thoughtful people who clearly care. We stayed in the Schoolhouse Cottage and it was absolutely gorgeous, charming, cozy, and beautifully designed. It felt private and peaceful, like our own little world. The evenings by the fireplace were my favorite part, slow, quiet, and so comforting. Our first night, we enjoyed their Mardi Gras dinner and it was such a fun, lively way to begin the stay. The food throughout was excellent, comforting, refined, and clearly made with care. Everything about The Lost Fox Inn felt intimate and special. It’s rare to find a place that feels both elevated and deeply warm at the same time, we left already wanting to come back.”

“Lost Fox Inn is such a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance feels elevated, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We went for their Mardi Gras night and everything from the candlelit vibes to the live jazz music and incredible food was absolutely perfect. The energy was amazing, people were singing, dancing, and truly enjoying the experience. The staff was welcoming and attentive, the space felt intimate yet lively, and the entire evening felt special and memorable. Whether you are looking for a chic night out, a romantic staycation, or a unique boutique hotel experience in Connecticut, this place is a must. We will definitely be back.”

“Huge disappointment, especially when we paid over $500/night. Rooms were dark. Terrible lighting (40w bulbs?), foam pillows and one evening, no hot water for shower. Also, no daily room service, i.e. making beds, checking supplies. And Tavern for breakfast, again dark And cold. Buffet with chafing dishes the didn't heat food well, cold pastries. After first day, we opted for Dunkin' over a free breakfast in the tavern. Since writing this, the hotel responded and assured me that it will correct or fix the issues that I noted here. The hotel also very generously refunded the room charge. Am sure Lost Fox will be a very comfortable inn next time.”
