“This is probably the best dinner I’ve had in Salt Lake City. It really is such a hidden, neighborhood gem. Everything is so fresh and creative. Genuinely I think their sourdough is the best I’ve ever had.”

“Wonderful little spot in a place I'd never expect, Salt Lake City has certainly changed a lot since I lived in the Avenues back in the early 10's. The Oquirrh is a cozy joint named after my favorite mountain range and has served up some of the best and most fresh faire I've had in SLC. The Bread & Butter appetizer is a classic combo for a good restaurant to show their stuff with the basics, and the cheese course is a very thoughtfully prepared rendition of an overplayed trope in haute cuisine. And that's not to say Oquirrh provides dismally small portions as the style would have you think; The good couple serves up Americana classics that will have you filled, not stuffed, but very, very satisfied. We had a wonderful time at Oquirrh, with immpecable service, wonderful ingredients, and a chef who knows what he's doing, I can't wait to give them a second go.”

“For years, Oquirrh Restaurant has been my husband’s and my absolute favorite place to eat, and I honestly can’t believe I’m only just now writing a review. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warmth to the place that makes you feel like you’ve been invited into someone’s home rather than just another restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated, which perfectly matches the care they put into their food. And the food… it’s phenomenal every single time. You can tell that everything is made with intention and quality ingredients. Every dish feels a little special, like it was crafted by someone who genuinely loves what they do. We’ve celebrated so many dinners here over the years, and somehow the experience never gets old. What really makes Oquirrh stand out, though, is the consistency. After all these years, it’s still the place we choose when we want a meal that feels memorable. Great food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer and savor it all. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. It’s truly one of those rare restaurants that stays with you long after the meal is over.”

“My wife's co-worker has always talked about this place. We finally decided to go for our first time...I am a "picky" eater. But this place was AMAZING. We got muscles and sourdough bread for appetizers. For dinner we got the chicken pot pie and the Waygu Ribeye. This was the BEST Ribeye I have EVER had.”
