“If you enjoy fine dining and you also love the savory, smokey flavors of a campfire meal then this restaurant is sure to dazzle your tastebuds. Every dish was beautifully presented and each bite bursting with the perfect blend of elegance along with the rustic nostalgia of a fire-kissed dish. One star off (which really should be 1/4 of a star off) because the music occasionally felt somewhat disconnected and distracting from the restaurant’s overall aesthetic and ambiance. Oh and the compound ash butter (see photo) was delicious, but looks unappetizing. Perhaps this amazing butter could be molded into a different shape. Still, it didn’t prevent us from enjoying it along with every last bite of the entrees we ordered. Overall an exceptional restaurant and I highly recommend.”

“I took my mom here for her birthday and we were treated so kindly! The food was delicious, rich in flavor, and unique. We had rolls and beet salad for starters. Beautiful plating and the fluffy ash butter warms the soul. The main rabbit pasta dish and short rib mole dish were also perfect, well balanced in flavor, cooked with care and warm. The service was also excellent with everyone attentive, friendly and kind.”

“We had a picture perfect night at Rouser during our stay at the Asher Adams hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure she had a perfect birthday weekend. We started with drinks at Bar 119 upstairs, then enjoyed delectable dishes from the Josper charcoal grill. Our favorites were the parker house rolls, steak tartare with bone marrow, prawns with curry (nice heat), scallops over risotto, beets and the Josper Mac and cheese (ordered another immediately). Mary made us feel at home and we loved her enthusiasm and professionalism. We returned to our room in the beautifully renovated train station themed hotel and finished with chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten birthday card from Cleopatra. “Amazing staff (Ella is excellent), nice atmosphere, good food, a bit pricey. Tried the breakfast sandwich, and I really enjoyed the in-house made bread. Their fry sauce is also delicious. Prices are on the high side, but atmosphere and service are spot on.”

“Overall ambiance was nice and lively. Service was great and we appreciated the attention to details by the staff. Pork Ribs appetizer was fantastic while the short ribs entree was a bit lackluster in cohesion and taste. The rabbit pappardelle entree was delicious and plentiful in portion size. The chocolate ash cake was alright as it didn’t taste fresh while the 3 components (chocolate, vanilla, and caramel) paired very well together.”
