She really knows what exceptional customer service is and I will be returning to your restaurant very soon. The view, food (calamari: best my daughter ever had, crab cake: very tasty and fresh, burger and fries chicken: simply delicious) and the atmosphere was by far one of the best I have had in a while and my daughter was so impressed with the architecture of the restaurant and the way it was built on the water. “Shore is a really nice place on Longboat Key to dock your boat and watch the sunset. They can accommodate many boats and they do get busy, but always seem to have a slip for us. The atmosphere is just lovely and it’s a fairly large restaurant. We’ve always sat at a table. The food is consistently good. We ordered a round of appetizers to start. They are known for their calamari which was good.but is mixed in with an Asian type salad. The crab cakes consisted mostly was amazing. The ceviche for me would be a hard no in the future. It was a very small bowl and mostly filled with cucumbers. The grouper as a main dish was phenomenal. Unfortunately the service was atrocious and we seem to get the same person every time. We had to ask for more water three times and had to go find our own silverware. But we will keep going back regardless.”

“We tried Shore Longboat Key for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The view alone is worth the visit, but the food and service really made the night special. There were six of us, and everything flowed perfectly. Our waitress, Audrey, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu well. The manager, Noah, also stood out as a sharp and welcoming young man who clearly takes pride in the place. Every dish at our table looked incredible, and the presentation honestly rivaled anything you’d see on a cooking show. I had the shrimp and scallops with lemon risotto, sautéed spinach, lemon beurre blanc, and tomato confit—absolutely delicious, with flavors that all came together beautifully. I couldn’t pass up the truffle fries (with aged parmesan and chives), and they were just as good as I hoped. We also tried several of the desserts. The dessert special, a cherry tart bread pudding, my choice, was a real treat. All in all, the entire experience was outstanding. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting—I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be back.”

“Had a wonderful dinner at the Shore. The employees were really kind, and our server was very helpful. The calamari salad was delicious, but definitely spicy FYI (I love spice!). The spicy tuna sushi rolls were AMAZING, and the burger was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The store is such a fun addition, and you can go shopping while you wait for your food or reservation. Great views and vibes!”
