The aroma of sauces fills the air, and the open kitchen is like a live culinary show. You can watch the chefs work their magic. But let's talk about the real stars....the pasta! Oh. My. Goodness. Each dish is a love letter to Italy, crafted with passion and precision and every bite is a taste of pure bliss. I'd definitely go here again!”

“Exceptional from start to finish. The hospitality at Funke is on a different level. The team is warm, polished, and genuinely welcoming, and the entire experience feels thoughtful and seamless. The food is just as impressive. The tagliatelle was a standout, perfectly textured with just the right amount of bite. The prawns with green sauce were bright and balanced, the focaccia siciliana was impossibly light, and the zucchini flowers were fried beautifully. Dessert was also a highlight, especially the cannoli gelato. A truly memorable dining experience!”

“The food was incredible. Simply incredible. The food was rich and very flavorful. The food was very creamy heavy, but not in a bad way, I would eat this every week. I would recommend the Tagliatelle and the Torta Di Cioccolato, as they were the most mind-blowing dishes. This restaurant has Michelin Star quality food. The hospitality was also incredible, fairly matching the food quality. The server was very nice, didn't rush us at all and gave us many recommendations. The atmosphere was also incredible. The rooftop (where I went) had a very nice and warm small bar and a nice view of the sky. Overall, I don't know how this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin Star or even a Bib Gourmand.”

“Beverly Hills pasta spot from Chef Evan Funke. Came here with my dad and we made a reservation online in advance, as we had to catch a show at the Annenberg Theater. We split a Dama Bianca salad to start followed by a Diavola pizza and rigatoni all’amaritriciana. The pasta/pizza dishes we picked were heavy and filling, so having a salad to have a light start was a good idea. My favorite was the pizza as it was spicy and the crust texture was just right. We ended with a passionfruit sorbet for dessert, which was very large and good to split. They gave us complimentary cookies and chocolates at the end as well which was nice. The ambiance was upscale but it’s still family friendly, as there were small kids there. Parking available around via the Beverly Hills pubic garages.”

“Funke is a beautiful restaurant with an incredible atmosphere--elegant, lively, and very much a "Beverly Hills night out" kind of place. It's definitely very expensive, but the food overall was excellent and you can truly taste the quality, especially in the homemade pasta. We've been to Felix in Venice (same restaurant group), and Funke feels very similar in both vibe and menu style--if you loved Felix, you'll likely enjoy Funke as well. The service had a few hiccups. At times we felt a little rushed, and there were moments where food was delivered but our plates and silverware were taken away and we were left waiting while the food sat on the table. That said, our waitress was very informative and knowledgeable about the menu, which we appreciated. Cocktails however were outrageous in price ($25-$35 each), and pastas run about $30-$50+, but again, the quality really shows. Portions are generous and easy to share if you are out with a group. Some of our favorites were the Fiori di Zucca (squash blossoms), the Pappardelle, and a huge radicchio-based salad (can't remember the exact name, but it was fantastic). The Branzino was good, but we'd probably skip it next time and stick with the pasta, which was the real standout. All of the pastas were delicious. Dessert was lovely as well and a great way to end the meal. Overall, Funke is a splurge-worthy spot for a special occasion--go for the pasta, expect high prices, enjoy the atmosphere, and just be prepared for possibly uneven service.”
