From NYC's award-winning aperitivo bar comes Dante Beverly Hills, the Dante team's first restaurant outside of New York City. Situated on the rooftop of The Maybourne Beverly Hills, the new West Coast outpost blends Dante's beloved hospitality with Californian sensibilities, offering an Italian-inspired food menu - centered around a wood-fired oven - to pair with aperitivo-style cocktails.
“Wow!!! Dante's is so hip and delicious!! The best wine in the world 🍷 Incredible people watching and a beautiful view! It truly does not get any better than this great restaurant!! The food was so delicious! And the service was perfect!! I actually forgot my bag there and they were so efficient and thorough and helped me retrieve it. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and had the amazing Margarita pizza 🍕 Everyone was so friendly and efficient. This restaurant /rooftop bar is an incredible place to see and be seen 😎”
“Dante Beverly Hills feels like one of those places you arrive at and immediately understand the hype ✨🍷🌴 The ride up the winding Beverly Hills hills almost feels cinematic, and once you finally arrive… WOW. The rooftop is absolutely beautiful. Elegant, romantic, and effortlessly luxurious without trying too hard. The kind of place that instantly slows you down and makes you want to stay all night. I started the evening with wine while taking in the atmosphere, and it honestly set the tone perfectly 🍷✨ Then came the pasta… and let me tell you, I tried two of their most recommended pasta dishes and they were TRULY delectable 😭🔥 Rich flavors, perfectly cooked, comforting yet elevated — every bite felt intentional. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality and presentation. This is definitely where you want to go for a date night. The ambiance is soft, intimate, classy, and just romantic enough without feeling overdone. Between the rooftop views, incredible food, and overall vibe, it gives luxury Los Angeles energy in the best way possible 🌃🍝✨”
“THE BEST RESTAURANT 🤩 We are travelling from Sydney, Australia and we visited Dante in West Beverly Hills for my birthday on 1st April around 5:45pm, and I am still thinking about this experience. This was, without exaggeration, the best service we have ever received. From the moment we arrived, everything felt intentional and special. We were welcomed with a mandarin spritz on the house, which set the tone immediately. Every course was flawless. The burrata was fresh and indulgent, the Caesar salad perfectly balanced, and the pappardelle ragu rich, comforting, and full of flavour. What truly elevated the night were the thoughtful surprises throughout. We were offered samples of their speciality cocktails, which were so good we had to order them again. Then came their signature tiramisu as a birthday dessert, absolutely divine. To finish, they treated us to their espresso cocktail, which was the perfect ending. But beyond the food and drinks, the service is what makes Dante exceptional. The lovely, wonderful lady who looked after us the whole evening, was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made the entire evening feel personal, effortless, and unforgettable. Dante is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. If you are celebrating something special, this is exactly where you need to be. 💯 RECOMMEND ‼️”
“Amazing view + drinks. We had the espresso negroni, pear negroni, and the honey bee. Fantastic spot for a cheeky afternoon cocktail. Love that they have a whole section dedicated to negronis, had I the tolerance, I would plough through that menu in a sitting. 100% would recommend. We did not have food here, so cannot comment yet. Hope to go back and update this review.”
“Set atop a hotel rooftop with sweeping views of Hollywood, this restaurant trades as much on atmosphere as on food. The setting is polished, the service attentive, and live piano lends the room an easy sense of occasion. The bar is the main draw. We ordered several rounds to sample the breadth of the cocktail list, and the drinks were consistently balanced and well made. The Dante Martini stood out in particular, exceptionally smooth and fragrant. The appetizers, by contrast, were underwhelming and did little to distinguish themselves. The entrées were far stronger: richly flavored, skillfully prepared and clearly more satisfying. Still, the pricing is steep, with portions that feel notably smaller than the cost would suggest.”
