“This place is the coolest, yummiest hidden gem 💎 in ktown!! My waiter was fast and attentive. My favorites were the Rigatoni, honey butter chips, tuna dip was fire and the soju selection blew my mind because I’ve only ever had the flavored green bottle. The fried chicken was very tasty too! Next time I need to try the beer and other menu items. I found metered parking nearby but there is valet service in the back!”
“This place has been on my list for at least a year, but I didn’t get around to visiting until I got the red dining book for Christmas. The place exceeded all expectations. It’s very tiny, with a big bar and only a few tables. They accept reservations and I highly recommend making one, otherwise you might find yourself lining out of the door. Everybody there is just vibing. Because the place is so small, all the staff members know exactly how many people they have, their order and the status of each dish. The service was quick, super friendly, and the owner came up to chat with us for a while and signed my book himself, it felt so very special. The food and drinks are incredible! We had to get tteokbokki with sea urchin row sauce, and their kimchi a la vodka. Both dishes were so good that I desperately wished for a piece of bread or a bit of rice to soak up every last drop of the sauces. I ended up asking for a spoon… portions are not huge, one entry is perfect for one person. We also got a couple of their drinks, both tasted very good but not enough spirit-forward to my taste, next time I’ll stick to straight soju or makgeolli, they have a great selection. Parking is everything you should expect from Koreatown, meter or street parking which takes time to find. Can’t wait to be back!!”
“this place is a MUST TRY! The kimchi alla vodka pasta and risotto with egg jam were both amazing, and so were our cocktails. The staff was very friendly too! Best LA dining experience we’ve had in awhile”
“Grabbed a res day of to stop here before a show at the Wiltern and what a perfect little plan that was! I told them we were tight on time because of a show and they went out of their way to accommodate, making sure we got our table as soon as possible and fired all our food QUICKLY! We had some great recommended soju and 5 dishes between 2 people. Our favorites were the salmon kimbap, the uni tteok-bokki and the shrimp toast. (Note, we don’t eat red meat so cannot comment on those dishes). The crudo was a tad overdressed but fish was fresh. Highly recommend for a small party for pre show or pre night out dinner.”
“Been twice with very different results. While pricey, the risotto is delicious and filling. The rigatoni on the other hand was too small and I left hungry. The clam dish is on the fishy side and more of a soup than something you would expect to have gnocchi. The most awkward part was having a dinner for 2 but my dish came out 25 minutes before my partners. The waiter gave us a heads up it would be longer but when we asked how long he just said “a little after”. 5 minutes would have been fine but I had been long finished with my dish before he got his.”
