“I highly recommend this cozy little den in Miami we went to! Every single bite of the food was absolutely delicious! Loved, loved their food! The tempura fish tacos were incredibly fresh and delish! Even my kid loved it! I asked for their homemade hot sauce on the side and, wow, was I amazed! They completely elevated the tacos to a different level. Especially the green sauce was my favorite because it was packed with so much flavor, not just heat. The ‘red snapper fillet with a tangy guajillo sauce and rice’ was easily one of the best dishes we have had at a Mexican restaurant! It’s a must try!! My classic margarita was okayish. The vibe of the place was just as lovely as the food—colorful, boho, cute and quite a charm. The service was so warm and welcoming. Definitely a spot we will be coming back to when in Miami!”

“Today I walked about a mile each way for lunch at Coyote Taqueria. The 4.9 star Google Map rating is well deserved. If you know me then you know that I enjoy Horchata....there's was good, not exceptional...The red hot sauce did little for me but the spicier green was good. My entre was Yucatan style pork tacos. They were excellent with each bite tasting better than the one before. Well worth the walk and the 4.9 rating”

“Family friendly atmosphere. High energy and great vibes. Service was quick but looked like the picture on the menu. Ordered the chicken tacos (3) with a small side of white rice and seasoned black beans. Perfect portion, no need to get a box. Would recommend if looking for great tacos and service in South Beach.”

“I’ve left many reviews over the years, and the vast majority have been positive. My wife and I come to Miami about once a year and always enjoy the food here. While staying in South Beach, we wanted something close by and had a craving for Mexican food. Like most people, I searched “food near me” and came across coyote Taqueria With over 12k reviews and a 4.9 rating, it seemed like a solid choice. The host was friendly and helpful, and we were seated indoors. They also offer outdoor seating. The décor and music were nice. We’re from San Diego, so we’re pretty familiar with good Mexican food and have a solid frame of reference. We hadn’t eaten breakfast, so I ordered chilaquiles with red sauce, scrambled eggs, and grilled chicken. My wife ordered the chicken tacos. When the food arrived, my eggs weren’t scrambled they were over medium. That wasn’t a big issue, so I didn’t complain. Unfortunately, the chilaquiles were very dry and disappointing. The menu photos showed red onions, but what was served with yellow onions, and the sauce had almost no flavor. The chicken was also dry and lacked seasoning. After a few bites, I pushed the plate aside. My wife’s tacos looked very plain and unappetizing, served with a side of fries smh with tacos. Maybe that’s a Miami thing, but we’re more used to beans and rice. I asked her for a bite, and unfortunately, they were just as disappointing. The only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the canned Coke. Our server never came back to check on us, though a busser did ask if everything was okay. I said we were fine. I’m not the type to make a scene or complain at the table, but I also wouldn’t return. Given the overwhelming number of positive reviews, this experience was surprising. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food.”
