“Food: Osaka was excellent. The meal had a lot of variety, but it never felt scattered. The raw dishes were a great place to start because the quality was obvious right away. The fish tasted fresh, clean, and carefully handled, and even the more composed bites still let that come through. Nothing felt dressed up just for the sake of it. The richer plates were just as strong. The wagyu had a lot of flavor and real depth, but it still fit the meal instead of pulling it in a completely different direction. The rice dishes stood out too. Flavorful, substantial, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. That was probably my favorite part of eating here. There was a lot going on, but the kitchen kept control of it. Every dish felt like it belonged. Service: Polished and attentive. The pacing of the meal was smooth, and everything came out in a way that let you enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. Summary: Easy 5/5. Osaka felt thoughtful, exciting, and very well executed. The meal had range, but the quality stayed consistent the whole way through.”

“Osaka Miami has some of the best Japanese food in Miami. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. I wasn’t feeling well and ordered a ginger ale, and our server kindly offered to prepare something special that would help settle my stomach. He brought me a custom drink, and it genuinely made me feel much better. That level of care and attention truly impressed me. My favourite dish was the salmon tiradito with passion fruit — fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. Overall, an amazing dining experience with outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back.”

“A truly unique dining experience with great service throughout. The tuna crispy rice was delicious with a fun, creative twist. The salmon katsu nigiri was heavenly…bright, lemony, and incredibly fresh. The scallops were a standout: buttery, decadent, and beautifully presented in their shells, with the cheese torched tableside right in front of you. The hot-stone wagyu was both interactive and indulgent, melting in your mouth and adding to the overall experience. A memorable meal from start to finish.”

“I had been to their Lima location about a year ago during a trip to Peru and absolutely loved the flavors, so I was curious to see how it would compare to their Brickell location back home. Overall, the flavors were very consistent with what I remember from Lima, which was great to see. The main differences, however, came down to portion sizes and pricing, understandably higher in the U.S., but still noticeable. I ordered mostly the same dishes I had in Lima, and the Carpassion was the standout of the night. The combination of flavors with that touch of sweetness was just delicious. That said, the slices were noticeably thinner compared to what I had in Peru, I even compared photos, and the difference was pretty significant. I understand operating costs vary, but I do think there should be a bit more consistency across locations. My second favorite was the Osk (tuna ceviche). The Asian-inspired flavors really came through here, balanced, vibrant, and honestly just excellent. The Kiiro, their take on traditional ceviche, delivered exactly what you’d expect, clean, authentic, and well executed. The only miss for me was the Nori Furai. Some pieces had a noticeably fishier taste compared to others, which threw things off a bit. It could have been the fish itself or maybe the sauce, but it wasn’t as consistent as the rest of the meal. Cocktails were solid, but definitely on the expensive side at around $24 each. All in all, it was a good dinner with strong flavors and a nice reminder of my experience in Lima. That said, I’m not entirely sure it justifies the price point, but still a spot worth trying.”

“For my first attempt at this place, I didn't fall in love. The serving size for each order was unexpectedly small. The drinks were perfect, the service was excellent, and the environment was beautiful (as is the standard in Miami it seems).”
