“I would consider this a hidden gem! Me and my husband aent from middlesboro but we gisit occasionally and the food here was chefs kiss. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Food was fresh, great portions, clean, outdoor seating was perfect for us. We will be visiting again!! ❤️”

“Best place in Middlesboro to eat! Ike’s is horribly priced with crap customer service, Cracker Barrel is hit or miss. Shades is top notch literally every single time you eat here! All of the food is absolutely phenomenal, the customer service is absolutely perfect, the owner walks around and helps his staff seat people, clean tables, deliver food and just to make sure everything is good or if something needs to be changed. We eat here almost every week for our weekly out to eat trips.. if I could give it more than 5 stars I would! 100/10 recommend!!! Oh, and my wife is Gluten free and they make sure they accommodate their customers that have that unfortunate allergy and they don’t charge extra just because it’s gluten free like “Ike’s” did to us.”

“Since we moved to the South, this is the best place we've found for a good date night. Food was fantastic. Great looking menu. Atmosphere is very nice. The booths make for a fairly private dining experience. Our server, Ava, was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the menu items and extremely polite. We ordered steaks. They were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. I got wings for an appetizer. They were the best wings I've had here. Not breaded but fried until crispy and still juicy. My only wish is that the Friday night special of prime rib be offered in larger cuts. I stuck with the ribeye since I could order a larger cut. All in all, it was a great experience and we'll be back very soon.”

“This place so good all around. The atmosphere, the service, and the food. We got cheese curds for an appetizer. I got the beef tips which melted in my mouth. My daughter got the bourbon chicken stir-fry and my husband got the fish platter. All of our dishes were super yummy. Food came out fast. We will be back next time we are in town.”

“This is a great local, family-friendly spot! The fried pickles were absolutely amazing—definitely my favorite part, especially paired with their ranch. I ordered the 6oz sirloin (medium well) with grilled shrimp, which comes with two sides. I chose the macaroni and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes, and everything was perfectly prepared.”
