Broders' Pasta Bar is an Italian restaurant in the Armatage neighborhood of Minneapolis.
“Super cute little spot! I ate at the pasta bar and the server/bartender was so very kind and attentive. The food was great and the pine nut cake was worth the visit alone! I went around 4pm on a Thursday and had no trouble with parking in their lot, but when I left around 5 it was full (or close to it), so be prepared to street park.”
“This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the twin cities and I’m so happy I finally tried it after driving by it a lot. Its a nice atmosphere and feels really comfortable. In the summer its also nice to sit inside. The pasta is really good and there are so many different types of dishes to try!”
“One of the best pasta dishes I've ever had! They have an extensive menu with seasonal dishes as well as staple dishes. I decided to get the gnocchi and it blew me away. The texture of the gnocci was so soft and pillowy, the sauce was savory and earthy with lots of mushrooms, and the steak was perfectly cooked, nice and tender. My boyfriend enjoyed his bucatini. The apple crostada was delicious, so make sure to save room for dessert. They dont take reservations but I was able to get seated with no wait time on sunday evening.”
“3 types of complimentary bread, all good but fairly bland The burrata was fresh and mild, not heavy. All pairs well but a bit messy to eat. The caesar was very cheese heavy, overpowers the rest of the content. Still fresh though. Very light on dressing. The spaghetti carbonara was just okay. The pasta felt a little underdone and mostly bland while the entire dish was overly salty except when you have a bite of peppers. Tastes more cheesy than creamy. #4 short rib was incredibly tender and flavorful. The sauce was herby and zingy, goes well with the short rib. The pasta was still a bit underdone but absorbed the flavor well.”
“Everything about this place told us we would love it. The location is excellent, they have a great parking lot, the decor is to die for, and the staff is so attentive and courteous. Unfortunately we were left a bit underwhelmed by the food.. The Carbonara was a bit too salty and the guanciale was almost crumbled and reminded us more so of bacon bits. But, the spaghetti was an excellent texture and the sauce was very creamy. The sauce for the Gnocchi was gritty and the vegetables were not cut uniformly. Some mushrooms were sliced and some were chopped. Some of the steak was gamey and some was super soft. But, the flavor for this dish was spot on and the truffle very much shined through. We did not get wine this time but the wine menu is superb from what i read. The flavors of both dishes were very good and taste can be subjective depending on the person and dish. I would still recommend this place to others and would excourage you to stop by if you are in the area. We will be back.”
