Margie's Kitchen + Cocktails is an American restaurant in the Andover, MN neighborhood of Andover.
“Margie's Kitchen + Cocktails in Andover, MN, is a fantastic scratch kitchen that delivers standout comfort food with fresh flavors and generous portions. Whether you're stopping in for brunch, lunch, or dinner, this north-suburb gem consistently impresses with its creative twists on classics and welcoming vibe. The pizza shines thanks to the brick-oven preparation—thin, crispy crusts loaded with quality toppings at an amazing value ($13–$15 for a 10-inch pie). Options like the Mother Clucker or smoked salmon varieties keep things interesting and delicious every time. Brunch lovers rave about the French toast, often highlighted as fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—sometimes with sweet upgrades that make it a weekend must. It's the kind of breakfast that starts your day right in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Don't miss the grilled wings—widely praised as some of the best around. Juicy chicken gets a bold dry rub, then pairs with an impressive lineup of 11 house-made sauces (chimichurri, calabrian chile, and tomatillo are standouts). They're crispy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. With craft cocktails, live music on select nights, and attentive service, Margie's hits all the right notes. It's a go-to spot for great pizza, excellent French toast, and top-tier wings in a cozy Andover atmosphere. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!”
“My husband and I went to Margie’s for date night and it did not disappoint. Boston was our waitress and when we told her it was our first time there she went out of her way to sit down at our table and go over the menu and recommend dishes and cocktails. Boston was so easy to talk too that it felt like talking to an old friend. The food was amazing from the appetizers she recommended all the way down to dessert. We will definitely be going back.”
“One of my favorite spots in the area, and I eat here a lot. Let’s be honest… I eat out way too much. The wings, burgers, steaks, pasta, appetizers, and desserts are all solid. The brick oven pizzas are a must and Bree behind the pizza counter is the real deal. My wife is gluten free and they handle it without any issues. The menu has everything labeled so there is no guessing game. They also clearly label other allergies as well and appear to accommodate the vegan crowd as well. My wife also loves the margaritas here, which says a lot because she is picky about them. I think they are pretty good as well. Another super awesome thing about this place… The bathrooms are all individual rooms. If you are a dad with a young daughter and hate walking her past a wall of dudes standing at urinals… this place has figured it out. Good food, good people, no complaints. If you have not been here yet… check it out!”
“If you choose to dine out, let it be at Margie's Kitchen. I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered on their menu, new or old. They have a comfortable and very inviting atmosphere. The service there is Excellent!!!👌🏻 Their server's are very courteous and super attentive. The Food is Amazing and their Chef has fabulous new dishes all the time. The best is always their tasty cocktails. 🍸 🍹 🥃 😋”
“I took my 13 & 8 year old here around 4pm on a Saturday. The service was fast & smooth. Our waitress was super kind & sweet to my kids. The serving sizes were perfect. Plated beautifully. Everything came out hot & ready! Both of them enjoyed the cookie & ice cream treat! My only complaints: As for the food: My son got the jalapeño berry jam burger & about half way through the bottom bun became soggy. I got the Margie’s burger & about 2/3rd of the way through my bun also became soggy. My son also asked for BBQ sauce & I’m unsure if they make the sauce themselves, but it tasted more like… Worcestershire sauce than BBQ. As for the atmosphere/service: We were seated on the infinity booth high top table (if you will) & then there’s 2 high top chairs on the other side of the table. That is fine. But then 2 more guests arrived & they were sat both to the right & left of us. When there were plenty of vacant spots. Obviously I’m unsure if there was space rented out or if there were reservations made for other tables. We were there for appox 1.5 hours. We ordered drinks, food, & desert. I could tell that the table to (my) right (I was sitting on the chair, my kids in the booth) were beginning to get annoyed. My daughter (8) got down to use the restroom & when she was getting back up on the booth had used their table as support to get back to her seat. I can understand why that’s somewhat annoying but she’s 8 & short. I also noticed a few glares when my kids were chatting & getting a little hyped up- we just finished back to back basketball games- both of them had won- before taking them out to dinner… & the table was looking at us, giving us the up-down & glares. Enough that both my kids caught on too. For future, maybe place those with kids in a more secluded seating arrangement.”
