“Great steakhouse experience at Roots Morristown on June 6. Nicolas M. was a fantastic server-attentive and on point. Steak was cooked perfectly, sides were solid. Pricey, but worth it.”

I'll Def be back. It was very busy on a Saturday night and they took the time to make sure the experience was perfect.”

“Oh my oh my! Booked this place for a business meeting. Yes - it is worth the hype and lives up to expectations! While prices are certainly above the average - they justify it with quality and service and overall experience. From freshly baked biscuits/croissant to too notch steaks and seafood prepared to perfection - they deliver. Located in the center of Morristown - on the green - two entrances. Local public parking lot is near as parking can be a bit challenging although i did find a meter parking block over. Multiple small private meeting rooms, two large dinning areas with open kitchen view and nice bar in between. Their wine cellar is a room all in its own. Now onto food - i went with crab cocktail which was served smoking (yes dry ice) and with 2 dipping sauces! Fresh and Tasty. Ribeye filet mignon (it was their special) was my main course but they have plenty of surf and turf options to pick from as well as raw bar. Wild mushrooms, mashed potatoes and asparagus were also awesome as a side dish. Fresh arugula salad was also not just a bunch of greens on a plate. Our other colleague had a ny strip - also super! Velvet cake with strawberries finished off our evening. If you want a place to talk - ask for smaller back room. Main room was certainly noisier and busier. I do think weekend they are booked up so reserve your tables in advance! 5 star for sure.”

“Roots Steakhouse has a classic steakhouse atmosphere with a cozy, intimate feel. The steak was very good and definitely the highlight of the meal. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out the oversized martini glass ice cream sundae, which was such a fun touch. Overall, a really nice experience and a place I’d happily return to.”

“We stopped in here for a quick lunch after a busy day of shopping. We were walking by, and their menu looked great for a casual lunch. We love the harvest group restaurants, and this one was no exception. The service was excellent, as we’ve come to expect from their restaurants. They have some really great Lunch options on their menu. The ambience and the vibe inside is impeccable. We really enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Highly recommend!”
