Bleu Provence is a French restaurant in the Crayton Cove neighborhood of Naples.
“Wow. This was the best dining experience we’ve had in Naples. We’ve been coming here for years and love exploring the food scene and this one takes the cake. I had the Wagyu Short Ribs, some family had muscles, others had fish entrees. They don’t have it written, but they also have a small kids menu that was delicious, and they were more than happy to wait on our children (unlike another local French restaurant that was clearly disgusted we even asked for a children’s menu). There were 8 of us total and the range on entrees and desserts was vast, and everyone was raving. The cocktails were excellent. Worth every penny. We will certainly be back for the next celebration while in Naples.”
“Excellent French Restaurant! We had the Mediterranean Sea Bass, filet mignon, and shrimp. Our waiter Dana was very personable and very attentive! The crème brûlée was great! Nice to walk around the city dock after dinner.”
“From the moment we entered this charming restaurant, we felt the welcoming atmosphere of Bleu Provence. The staff was most attentive and the food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was very kind and despite the fact that the place was getting packed, we never felt rushed and could enjoy our meal. The courses came at perfect intervals and our waitress timed everything beautifully. We have tried a lot of restaurants in Naples and feel that you certainly get great value for the price!”
“We heard about this "French" restaurant and being new in the region we wanted to try it with our son and daughter in law. Although the menu shows French classic dishes the food it is not prepared as such. The service was impeccable with a friendly but professional staff. We had the Foie Gras poëlé that was excellent and well seered. It was served over a sweet bun and vegetables which was a new way for me and a little heavy. The Mussels in the Moules et Frites were small but as they were cooked perfectly they were juicy. The Steak Tartare was just as good and somewhat similar to the classic one from home. The Loup de Mer was cooked to perfection. The biggest surprise was the bouillabaisse. It had nothing in common with a real one and that was disappointing. The broth that should be the main attraction was replaced by a nice tasting liquid sauce but there was not enough of it to soak the croutons The rouille was more an aioli than a rouille. This is not the place to eat a bouillabaisse but if you love a braised fish stew this one was excellent as every piece of seafood was cooked to perfection in a simple sauce/broth. My husband who is a stickler about his crème brûlée was very happy but still complained that the sugar crust was cold and not hot which he pointed out. I saw some Moroccan dishes on the menu and we will go back to try those as the restaurant is a very attractive place.”
“My boyfriend and I were so excited to spend a lovely evening together for Valentine’s Day. We arrived at the restaurant to be ignored by the hostesses. They were clearly very overwhelmed. Finally when we were seated, our waiter John seemed overwhelmed and inpatient. We were looking forward to getting the Valentine’s Day special but were rudely told they ran out.. how do you not order enough when you know it’s going to be a busy night. So we went with other items on the menu. After waiting OVER an HOUR for our meals my Filet Mignon showed up with two baby potatoes…. TWO.. & his meal was not what he had pictured it to be either. We are parents who don’t get out much so the fact this is what we had to deal with means we will never return. What a disappointment don’t waste your time if you want a sad disappointing meal & to be dealt with by rude staff.”
