“We rented out the back garden at Baba on Withers for my husband’s birthday party, and they truly delivered. Everything—from the space and vibe to the staff and the food—was incredible. We had a dedicated server, Sydney, who was amazing. She brought such great energy, was incredibly attentive, and made sure everyone was taken care of all night. Not a single guest ever had an empty drink, and the whole experience felt seamless and fun from start to finish. We were so impressed by her ability to serve the whole party that we were still talking about it the next day lol. All the other staff was super helpful and accommodating as well. Such a fun night! 10/10 would definitely recommend Baba for your next private party!”
“We hosted our baby shower here! Would highly recommend doing a small private event here. The staff was so great and helpful, the food was awesome and gluten free and the back patio is a perfect spot to hang with 25-40 of your closest friends.”
“Baba on Withers initially appears unassuming from the outside, but stepping in reveals a completely different atmosphere. The indoor space was surprisingly loud with music, immediately signaling that it was not the place for a quiet conversation with my friend. Our hope rested on finding space in their outdoor patio. Fortunately, there was room, and we were incredibly glad we stayed. While the patio may not be the most meticulously curated, it possesses a distinct rustic charm with decorations that clearly show thoughtful effort. Outdoor light globes, heaters on ceilings, comfortable outdoor sofas, and even a disco ball (!!!) contributed to a wonderfully free and relaxed ambiance. It felt so good to be there with people, their babies, their dogs, and the gentle breeze. The servers were very chill and laid back while still being attentive to their jobs, which we deeply appreciated. They were flexible with us moving tables when the weather got colder, demonstrating that carefree yet fully attentive attitude. We ordered the fries, and they arrived unsalted. I am unsure if this was intentional or an oversight, but it is something some people will like and others may not. The cheese sprinkled on top did help. It is a good order to have as a finger food if you have already eaten. To start, we also got two glasses of white wine called "Couple Goals." It tasted good; nothing particularly stood out to me, but it was tasty and a safe option. I would want to try another white next time. We then got two red wines, "Premises," which kind of tasted like natural wine. While it was not what we were expecting, it was interesting, and I liked it a lot, though my friend was not the biggest fan. The bathroom was clean, which was a pleasant surprise for a bar, and I hope it does stay that way. I would absolutely return to Baba on Withers for the patio, though not for the indoors, and because of the excellent servers and the overall vibe. I have not yet tried their more substantial food items, which I would also like to explore on a future visit.”
“Must come and enjoy a drink. It was Sunday so menu was very limited not to many options ( food ) but the ricotta dip with bread was pretty good. Drinks are very well made and the service is very casual but nice. Will definitely stop by again”
“It was our first time coming here for brunch. We had a great time the food and service were fantastic. The place is pretty cool too. They have a patio in the back unfortunately, it was raining the day we came so we had to sat inside which was nice as well. Now I know why this place has so many hype🤗 I will definitely be considering coming back again for happy hour.”
