Brindle Room

“It is the brasserie / dive bar / bistro / speak easy that you were always looking to make your local joint. The decor screams “if you know you know” without the pretentiousness. We had Sebastian burgers with and without bacon…and this is key…we were not asked how we wanted it cooked…great sign. The burger was unctuous with delicious flavor that was reminiscent of aged steak. The burger was perfectly cooked and though I normally prefer thinner patties this thick patty was done perfectly and had the perfect texture all the way through. The KGB sauce was great the twice cooked fries were excellent and the decor fits the menu. There are places you go to once to say you went and there are places that you keep returning to over and over…Brindle Room is the latter.”

“Mouth watering, succulent, cooked to perfection burger. I cannot express to you how you are not checking out this dive and dine. Eloquently placed in the lower Eastside, Nancy Pelosi should run and try. This stuff, the staff, is dapper, I can’t explain. From the hot sauce, the truffle fries, all is not in vein. I do ordain to visit so glad, this Brindle Burger was the juiciest pleasure I ever had.”

“The burger was fine, but definitely not the best not in the world, not in New York, and probably not even in the neighborhood. The burger was served rare, which isn’t my favorite doneness. I assumed they had their standard as no one asked me how I wanted it cooked. Now I a bit regret saying it was fine instead of sharing my honest opinion to the staff.”
