Casa Lever offers sophisticated Milanese cuisine and is one of Midtown Manhattan’s prominent dining destinations. It originally opened in October 2009, serving breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner, and it quickly became the preferred venue for business and fine dining in the area. Now, the emblematic establishment is reopening after renovations and interior updates.
“What an incredible experience! My friend and I sat at the bar inside of restaurant and were lucky to be served by Alex. He was so attentive, caring, and genuinely kind. You can tell he puts his heart into what he does. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I learned online that Casa Lever has THE BEST CEASER SALAD hands down. It was a Bachelor Date Night for myself...and this did not disappoint!! The first thing that must be applauded, appreciated and vehemently recognized is the staff. The treatment provided made me feel like a member of the 1%. All genuine as they gave that EXCELLENCE to all the patrons. Maître D Hôtel to every other staff member that I came in contact with gave a beautiful night in New York more luster, elegance, polish and shine. Then...the meal: Beverage- their Signature "Sonido". A cocktail that ushered Spring before it is official! Starter: A beautifully, bouqueted bed of baby Romaine Lettuce with the perfect amount of real Ceasar Dressing, perfectly aged, 36yr shaved Parmesan-Reggiano Cheese, delectable, silky anchovies, topped with melt-in-your-mouth buttered croutons. It's was heavenly meal by itself which I will be back for! Entrée: Cacio E Pepe. Homemade Tonnarelli perfectly Al dente, Pecorino Romano DOP, Tellicherry Black Pepper. Rich and tasty with a brilliant portion served. I was satisfied after the salad but one bite of this pasta and it was not leaving the restaurant. Dessert: Fan Cookies. It is difficult to describe the croissant-sequel texture of this buttery wafer. The crunch is firm but when the bite is to it's completion it dissolves and melts on your palate like a true French croissant. My apologies for this length...but I could go on about this one specific dinner that elevated my night and the amazing team that provided it to me. In close...the atmosphere is pure lush and elegance. It IS a space that should have effort placed to visit and enjoy. This hard working team and restaurant deserves every bit of one's patronage and generosity. Please add to your to dining choices.”
“Casa Lever is simply one of the absolute best Italian restaurants in New York City. Every time you go, it’s a sure thing. The ambiance is beautiful. The room, the lighting, the artwork, everything feels elegant and thoughtfully designed. It’s classic New York with a refined Italian sensibility that runs through every detail. The food is spectacular. You can tell they use the best ingredients and care deeply about quality, down to the smallest touches. Everything feels intentional and elevated. The service is equally exceptional. Antonio, the maître d’, is wonderful. He is friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The entire team makes you feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. And the attention to detail really extends everywhere. The bathrooms are immaculate and always have an attendant, stocked with beautiful products from Santa Maria Novella and Diptyque. It’s a small thing, but it says a lot about the level of care they bring to the entire experience. As part of the Sant Ambroeus family, Casa Lever represents the very top tier of what they do. It’s a true New York staple and has been for years. In my opinion, it’s one of the best.. if not the best Italian restaurant in the city.”
“Casa Lever was a delightful dining experience on all fronts. Once inside, it is easy to see the careful attention that was paid to the architectural design and craftsmanship. An original artwork series by Damien Hirst was displayed the length of one wall in the restaurant completing the scene. The service was friendly, effusive and there when needed. Our food was equally excellent with a range of flavors all of which never seemed to get in each other’s way. I give Casa Lever my highest recommendation.”
“Came here for lunch and it’s honestly a great place. Big table with plenty of room, some half-private cabins. During lunchtime, there is jazz background music. The place is a bit noisy. The Caesar salad was made with fresh anchovies. And the cacio e pepe pasta was also really well made. The waiters and the staff are very friendly. There is a special room for hanging your coats in case you’re coming in on a cold day.”
