The house bread is the best bread that I’ve ever had. The service was prob the best I’ve experienced in a while. Every staff member was welcoming and friendly. Everyone I met there said happy birthday to me. It was so special! Thanks Cathedrale team! Will come back soon.”

It feels elevated and beautiful without being overwhelming, and it really sets the tone for a special night. The service stood out right away. The waiters and the sommelier were very informative and attentive, helping us choose a great bottle of wine and guiding us through the menu in a thoughtful way. The sesame honey butter with the bread was honestly unforgettable. Such a small detail, but it really made an impression from the start. We had the tartare, prawns, octopus, and oysters, along with a bottle of wine, and everything was perfectly done. What I appreciated the most was how they made sure my friend felt truly celebrated. They were so sweet about the birthday, with a card, cake, and beautiful presentation that made the whole experience feel even more special. Definitely a place I would come back to for another meaningful occasion.”

The rotisserie chicken and truffle pasta were standouts, cooked perfectly with rich, balanced tastes that kept us coming back for more. The wine list was superb and paired wonderfully with our meal. Cocktails at the bar were creative and delicious, and the happy hour bites were some of the best I’ve had in the city. “The Cathedrale is such a beautiful restaurant. The food, although pricey, was absolutely delicious, too. Depending on the occasion and seating available, I would definitely love to come back again. We had a reservation but did have to wait a bit to be seated. There was a table in the restaurant but it seemed like there would be too much foot traffic, so we decided to sit at the bar, closest to the dining area. The bar is huge and near reception were a bunch of people just standing around waiting for tables, which is why we’d chosen to sit closer to the restaurant. However, people still started hovering around behind us, so I’d choose a better seating option next time. Although it has a romantic atmosphere, the noise level was quite high. So if you’re looking for a nice, quiet dinner, this probably wouldn’t be the place. It has a great vibe and is very lively, though. And this is the place for warm, fresh bread and the best filet mignon. The breadsticks were fine, but the mini bread loaf with butter was absolutely amazing. I’m not sure if I’d order the oysters again, but the salmon dish was also delicious. (Faroe Island Salmon with panchetta, savoy cabbage, tarbaia beans and vin jaune) My favorite, besides the bread, was the Filet Mignon with au poivre “Paul Bert” Paris mushroom duxelle. It was perfectly cooked, accompanied by a flavorful sauce. I’ll be back for the delicious bread and filet mignon :)”
