“Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Puerto Rican fusion done incredibly accurate and intentional. Our favorites were the chicken and the beef honestly stole the show. Everything was super tender and I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants an express trip back to Puerto Rico.”
“I LOVED this place. They will have my as a forever customer because everything was PERFECT. The staff i wish i got there names but wow they were amazing. Our waitress was so nice and down to earth and explained everything to us very well ! The food was top tier ! The chef definitely knew what they were doing ! The drinks were mixed amazing ! Then karaoke at night for everyone to have fun! This place is a gold mine and i looked forward to coming back plenty of more times!!! Thank you chino grande !!!!!”
“I went to Chino Grande for the first time, and I loved everything. The food was amazing, and the service was great as well. The food does take a little time to come out, but trust me—the wait is absolutely worth it. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The pepper steak with rice? Amazing—just incredible flavors all around. Everything we tried was so good. Don’t skip the avocado salad or the side of tostones with salsa verde. They’re the perfect way to start your meal. The salad was super refreshing with a nice nutty taste. I 1,000% recommend this place”
“This Williamsburg spot had been on my radar for a while after seeing the chef put so much love and attention into both the presentation and the food and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was delicious across the board. Only note: the beans could’ve used a little more sazón, como hace abuela. Aside from that, everything was top notch. Kudos to the Chef 🫶🏽 The four-star rating comes down to service. The wait staff was pretty inattentive; we had to flag the team multiple times for drinks, water, and even extra sauce for the tostones. The decorations could also use some Chinese and latino influences to augment the experience pero La comida está bien rica! Still, this is definitely a must-go. Great food, beautiful presentation; just hoping the service catches up to the kitchen.”
“Fun, lively atmosphere, but, that was the best part. We ordered quite a bit, so here's the run down... Chorizo egg roll: not much chorizo flavor, but perfectly crunchy and pretty tasty. Thrice Cooked Chicarron: way overly sauced, and the pork itself was a little on the funky side. Bacalao Cesar salad: it tasted like refrigerator. Ceviche: THE ABSOLUTE STAR OF THE NIGHT. Bright, fresh, and really great. Rice and Beans: rice was too wet, we have a word for that "mogollado", and the beans were good, except they needed more salt. Roasted Drunken Chicken: this was quite good, but also, needed more salt. Overall, with a little more attention to the basics, this could have been a much better experience, but we left somewhat dissapointed.”
