“A treat of a place on St.Mark’s. Upon arriving, you walk in to the bar area, greeted by a smiling face who takes you down a few stairs into a charming dining area. The smell of the food is what grabs you first, and then you look down at the plates on the tables as you walk by them and see the enormous servings. Your hunger goes crazy and it’s almost torture, knowing that you’re going have to wait to eat some of this amazing food. They bring you to your table in a small nook and, within seconds, you are greeted by your server. With enthusiasm and detail, they describe the dishes. I went with the chicken pho. It was served within minutes and it was fantastic! Great portion size cooked to perfection! Hunger fulfilled, I left a fat and happy onto my day in the Lower East Side. I will be returning often. If you haven’t done so already, give this place a try. You will love it!”

“Wow wow wow. I have been to Vietnam and these folks are nailing it. The Pho Ga is to die for. Such an assessment tasting broth. The pork spring roll, yum. Pork salad holy smokes. I think we had two. The crispy rolls are so good. Everything here is so flavorful and great. Can’t wait to go bk to NYC and Hanoi.”

“Friend and I dined in during happy hour. We got in without reservations on Friday night. The happy hour specials had the cocktails discounted more steeply than any of the food items. Place was not too busy and there were lots of kids around. It’s a pretty narrow space though so I wouldn’t say it is very accessible. We had to take our coats off the coat hooks so that they didn’t bother the group sitting next to us. The portions are on the smaller side and I saw that group sitting next to us just ordered an entire second order of pho. The food was amazing though and I was tempted to do that myself. I had never had pho with the condiments like pickled garlic, this particular chili sauce which I ordered seconds of, and a ginger condiment which was also great. That being said I don’t think it really needed any more flavor as the veggie broth was so aromatic. One of my favorite vegetarian phos ever. Would just prefer more tofu. Food came out super fast and everything was cooked well.”

“Cozy Vietnamese cusine on the lower east side. We stopped by for lunch and it was quite busy. Luckily we had placed a reservation so we didnt have to wait long. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, perfect blend of casual and intimate. We ordered the spicy garlic cauliflower as an appetizer, and for main dish we got vegetarian Banh Mi and Pho. The cauliflower was very good, the spicy seasoning and oil was very flavorful. The Banh Mi was crunchy and delicious, the fried tofu was well seasoned. The Pho broth definitely hit the spot on a cold day. Service was great and pricing was reasonable and fair.”

“The pho portion is really small. Smallest I’ve ever had, and I got the pho ga/chicken pho. The flavors are so mild and muted, very flavorless. No herbs, not at all authentic. The chicken is not grilled chicken, it’s boiled and just very bland. This is definitely not for the Asian palate. The good thing about this is they the noodles are a nice texture, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars.”
