“First time dining here, went for brunch the Saturday before Mother’s Day. Love the vibe, upscale yet still casual and comfortable. Service was impeccable from start to finish. The almond croissant is possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. Antonio, Zeinabou and the rest of the staff were attentive, informative and super professional without being stuffy at all. Great little spot and the food was fantastic. Would absolutely visit again.”
“The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The decor is stunning feels like you are in Europe! Our server Gabriella was so attentive and her energy and vibe was giving a girlfriend who was taking care of you! Her recommendations were great Andy girlfriends and I had an amazing time! The food is rich so it’s good to share and get a variety of meals! I highly recommend the anchovies with bread because it comes with the most amazing vanilla bean butter and also crème brûlée!”
“It was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we went here during restaurant week. We love the ambience, and the service was excellent from the host to the server. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. We tried one of each on the menu, and everything was delicious except for the duck and the dessert that has peanuts on it. We also tried the cookie, but it was okay and expensive. My husband likes this restaurant, so we will brunch next time.”
“La Mercerie in New York is one of the most beautiful dining experiences I’ve had. The ambience is stunning — soft light, elegant décor, and that warm French aesthetic that makes you want to stay for hours. Every detail feels intentional and romantic. The food was just as impressive: refined flavors, perfectly balanced dishes, and presentation that looked sexy as hell. From the starters to the dessert, everything tasted thoughtful and beautifully executed. It’s the kind of spot you remember long after you leave. Absolutely worth visiting again for both the atmosphere and the incredible food”
“From the moment we walked in and gave our reservation name, things were chaotic. The two hosts were not communicating super. When we got to our table, our server was nice and so were the runners/busses. I will say it took a while to gain our servers attention when we needed something, he never came over to ask how things were/if we needed anything etc. Service was slow all around. My Aperol Spritz was served to me with completely flat Prosecco, so after waiting a while until our server appeared- he did get me a fresh one with actual bubbles when asked. The food itself was terrible. Not much flavor. The quiche was pretty good but quite small. Potatoes tasted like they were pre cooked and then warmed up when someone orders it. They were slightly stale tasting and had that reheated quality and texture. Lastly. The chocolate chip cookie was horribly dry!!!! Quite frankly one of the driest cookies I have ever eaten. We will never come back, thats for sure. Take your money elsewhere that is worth it.”
