“I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and its preparation. The restaurant is classical traditional French fare a typical brasserie would offer. We were three adults and a four-year-old plus a 7 month old baby. The burger was exceptional: the quality of the beef and it arrived medium rare —which is often I miss at other restaurants. The Dijon mustard I asked for was no doubt not grey poupon but a French source given had some heat to it. The fries were very good as well. The baguette was phenomenal along with the butter. I highly recommend this quaint corner neighborhood restaurant.”
“Le Paddock is a family staple for me. We have been going since my children were little and Greg is the greatest host. Food always on point!!! One of the few in this area. The staff knows you and takes care of you like you are family. The menu and specials are ALWAYS a welcomed surprise and I have never been disappointed. In summer sitting outside enjoying the food and vibe - always a visit from the owner to your table to check that all is okay. It's a win win and we are so very lucky to have this in the hood. MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT. This week in fact we celebrated my older boys 21st birthday and couldn't have been happier with everything from drinks to food to celebrations! In fact there were 4-5 other birthdays happening that evening, Saturday night. I feel like this says a lot about a place when locals CHOOSE to have their milestones celebrated there - it means it's more than just a "regular" restaurant - you are FAMILY.”
“What a cozy French vibe! We had great $1.50 oysters for the Thursday special and for a cold winter night what is more delicious than cassoulet and beef bourguignon. Excellent service, everyone was attentive from the server to the bartender to the owner. True neighborhood spot with French bistro decor that doesn’t feel cheesy at all, could be in a less touristy part of Paris. A new fave!”
“Been here a couple of times for dinner. It's been a hit every time. The service is attentive and prompt. Cocktails are well balanced and the selection rotates. Skirt steak is well cooked to order, but the highlight of that dish is definitely the potatoes gratin. There is also a great selection of deserts and coffees to finish out your meal.”
“First time at this local and cozy place. I loved the atmosphere and the crowd. Our server was very friendly, giving complementary bread and butter; we ordered the steak and beef burger, steak was yummy and the burger was okay, patty wasn’t seasoned enough, good fries and salad though. Only thing is they ONLY accept cash (preferred) or AMEX.”
