Lord's is a playful English bistro with nose-to-tail sensibilities from the young team behind Dame. Expect a disco-heavy playlist, a deep wine cellar, and refined takes on seasonal British cooking.
“It was all about our Sarai! (Our bartender/server). Her smile. Her energy, her willingness to share knowledge of our drinks, the process of the cooking of the French fries, everything! As my wife and i’s first time here, we came for the food, but stayed because of Sarai. We will be back and mainly when she is working! Food was amazing, we had the scotch egg, the snap pea salad, the poached rhubarb yogurt, the Welsh rarebit burger as well as a few drinks . All presented at a high level and tastes even better in our bellies! Thank you for everything Sarai and LORD’s”
“Excellent food and service. The off menu burger lived up to the hype, but everything else sang. The scotch egg was perfect, and the oysters and scallops as starters couldn't be beat. Pair it all with a perfect guiness, and you've got an experience worth travelling for. PS Morgan at the bar was top notch. A true hospitality professional.”
“This is a British food themed restaurant but everything is quite elevated. Loved the Scotch Egg. The sausage roll was good but not as good as Borough Market. The Cod main was exceptional. A truly great fish dish. The vibe was cool and the service was perfection. Excellent apple quince crumble dessert as well. Want to go back for brunch and try the burger.”
“Went for brunch feeling hungry, left satisfied and full. Ordered the oysters, burger, and toffee pancake. Oysters were a bit small but each one packed a bite. Crunch from the bacon while still being able to taste the oyster. The burger was great. Pretzel bread with onions and cheese. It was borderline too much onion but was quickly negated by the fluffy bun and melted cheese. Burger was cooked medium rare and was chewy and delicious with every bite. The sticky toffee pancake was absolutely stunning. The fluff of the pancake to the sweetness of the toffee rounded off with a salted butter on top was perfectly blended into a delicious brunch meal. Would definitely go again.”
“The burger was so good (perfectly seasoned, the bun was incredibly soft and buttery) and the egg was excellent too. The crab toast was decent and it wasn’t anything particularly memorable. The burger was definitely the standout dish by far. The service was amazing and all the staff were so nice. The food came out so fast as well! I really wanted to try the toffee pancake as well, but the portion looked pretty big so we are saving it for next time. I just wish they offered a smaller portion size because it looked so good!”
