“After all the hype, I finally tried it myself. The fish in the fish and chips was fantastic. Light, flaky, juicy....the chips were just ok. But still, the fish made the dish. I also had the smoked whitefish crudite and tuna tartare, both also very delicious. Service was attentive with a smile, very welcoming. All in all, a great meal.”

“Incredibly delicious food with fantastic service. Grilled oysters were a favorite. Smoked muscle and cuke salad was off the hook. Fish and chips were both top shelf. The monkfish kedgeree was the least impressive. Can’t wait to come back here!!!”

“We finally made it to Dame, after wanting to try it for years, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We went for dinner on Tuesday and ended up tasting almost everything on the menu (except the mains!). Standouts for me were the oysters, the cucumber salad with smoked mussels, the hiramasa with snap peas and mint, and the tuna tartare, each dish was fresh, creative, and beautifully balanced. We weren’t planning on dessert, but I ordered the sticky toffee pudding anyway… and it ended up being one of the highlights. Everyone at the table had a bite, and we finished it completely, so worth it. The service was warm and thoughtful throughout, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Such a special spot, we’ll definitely be back!”

“We had such a unique dinner here. We loved everything about the meal but the standouts were the baked oysters and the lemon posset with poached rhubarb & earl grey meringue. Like what?! Would go back just for the dessert!”
