“I’m from Szechuan and I came here to celebrate my birthday because I’m missing my hometown flavors - the food was amazing and super authentic! They made their own chili oil in house (very fragrant). Our server Michael is also very nice, and even made free Chang Shou noodle (长寿面, which is a special noodle for birthdays in Chinese culture) for me! Will definitely come back!”
“We discovered this fantastic spot that serves authentic Chongqing fare and are already looking forward to going back! The ambience is minimal and elegant—wooden tables and chairs in a setup that feels immaculate and welcoming. We had their Spring rolls which were somehow really good. Done just right! The Dry pot fish was the highlight of our meal—hands down the best I have had so far! It was so delicious and popping with bold flavors. I also loved the Chongqing red oil noodles. It packed all the Sichuan heat and intensity. Absolutely umami and hard to stop eating or over eating! The Boiled fish with pickled vegetables was good as well. Though, I personally enjoyed the other dishes more. Their Stir-fried cabbage was simple and delish too. For me, the service was impeccable. Our server was warm, attentive and kept checking on us even during the rush hour crowd. I could say that for the entire staff actually—truly excellent hospitality. Definitely recommend!”
“Went for a 14 top Chinese New Years dinner, the area we were seated is a bit cramped for 14, and pretty much open to the dining room instead of "semi-private". The food was great, haven't had this version of steam lotus roots in a long time. Soup dumplongs are pretty good along with dry pot cauliflower, crab tofu and peking duck. After the mains we were pretty neglected by staff waiting forever for the dessert buns to come out and even longer to get and pay for the check. Place was packed, very loud and hard to have a conversation.”
“The food was fantastic, comforting, and deeply flavorful across the table. The standout dishes for me were the shredded pork, which was perfectly tender with just the right balance of heat and savoriness, and the mapo tofu, rich and numbing with that classic Sichuan mala kick. Everything felt thoughtfully cooked, not just spicy for the sake of it. Great textures, generous portions, and flavors that keep you going back for another bite. Definitely a spot I’d return to. Plenty of vegetarian options, their pan fried noodles were delicious as well.”
“We booked the semi-private room for a group of 10 of us. The cold eggplant dish was really good. Everything else was very salty. They did redo of the dishes to make it less salty. Compliments to them for doing that. Service was good in beginning, but towards the middle and end of dinner our waters weren’t being filled, finished dishes weren’t taken away when new dishes were brought to us. I wish they would check up on us once in a while instead of us chasing them down for water and napkins. However, ambiance was great inside. Tone down on the salt please!”
