Mission Ceviche believes in bringing people together in vibrant and dynamic venues to create lasting memories over satiated stomachs. Led by co-founders and owners Chef Jose Luis Chavez and Brice Mastroluca, the team is dedicated to using the freshest ingredients and a modern take on classic culinary techniques to showcase the flavors and dishes of Peru. The menus are designed to be as varied as the cultures and ecosystems of Peru, as diverse and exciting as New York, and as globally relevant as the team preparing and serving the food and drinks. **** We do have patio seating, but it is a request only. We can not guarantee seating with reservations.
“Had the pleasure of dining at Mission Ceviche Upper East Side and truly enjoyed the authenticity of this place. Funny enough, both of my visits happened by accident, and both turned out to be amazing experiences! The freshness and flavors of every dish were outstanding and kept me coming back for more. A special thank you to Scarlett, who was absolutely delightful and incredibly knowledgeable about both the menu and drink options. Her recommendations and warm service made the experience even better. I truly enjoyed every bite and sip and can’t wait to come back again!”
“I went a few days ago, and the experience was great! It was hard to decide between all the delicious dishes on the menu, but once we finally chose… oh wowwww, everything was amazing. We started with the watermelon and goat cheese salad, then shared the Mission Burger and the fish and chips sandwich. To finish, we had the Tres Leches cake. We ate a lot, but we left very happy!”
“This place was INCREDIBLE! We went here to celebrate me getting a new job, and decided to get the 6-course chef’s tasting menu and it was out of this world. Every dish and cocktail had us dying for more, and the service was so friendly and attentive and put on shows for several of the dishes, including the flambéed salmon seen in the photos I shared. Special shout out to our waiter Mathi for the amazing service he gave us, and always explaining every dish to us. Go get a Pisco Sour!”
“Most of the food here was absolutely delicious. The best part was that nothing was overly salty—everything was seasoned perfectly, which is rare to find. The only exception was the Arroz Con Mariscos; it was pretty uninspiring and had nothing memorable about it. However, the rest of the meal completely made up for it. Definitely worth a visit!”
“Wonderful service and flavors. The cevice and branzino were excellent. The shrimp curry dish was a bit too rich but everything was tasty and exciting. Beautiful presentation as well. Great hospitality and friendly staff. Would just prefer less of the Palo Santo fragrance/ inscence in the dining room. While I understand its authenticity, and at times used it at home myself, it was a bit overwhelming while eating.”
