“Don't skip on the beef tartare. Happy hour has great deals until 6:30PM. We will be coming back!”
“Made our way up here after a Broadway show and it was the best decision - away from the Times Square madness we found this hidden gem that comes with top notch hospitality brought by the general manager Jacqueline. She made the best recommendations, including the Steak au Poivre and the delicious baked brie which was our favorite. We had martinis, carajillos, espresso martinis, and after a few drinks we knew we would always be back to this spot. The show we watched was called Maybe Happy Ending, it might not always be a happy ending in life, but here, in Monsieur Bistro is most certainly always is a happy ending. Thank you so much to Jacqueline and her beautiful team!”
“Food was solid. The menu isn’t extensive but it’s a bistro. We went for a late lunch and there were no sandwiches. Got the branzino, mussels and Brussels sprouts salad with salmon. Branzino served as filets so no bones, head, etc. Menu says the sauce has dairy but we didn’t notice any cream. Mussels came with thin frites, which were crispy. Mussels were plump and only one not opened. Brussels sprouts were thin strips and the salmon was seared perfectly (we asked for med rare) and was a large serve. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing was when we stepped in, the place had a musty smell. Restaurant is a long rectangular room with a bar up front.”
“Solid, nice little spot. Could do with some vegetarian mains. Jennifer salad was good and cookie was pretty solid (bit more novel than truly delicious)”
“Spotted the XL Cookie on a reel and had to check it out! The cookie is huge, warm (baked fresh) and absolutely delicious. Also tried the profiteroles — flaky, creamy, and a total win. The staff were super warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even sweeter. The service is very European-style i.e no one’s rushing you out the door, which made the whole experience feel extra cozy.”
