“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mino Brasserie is a true hidden gem in the West Village. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere instantly transports you to a Parisian bistro. Warm candlelight, intimate seating, French posters on the walls, a stunning floral bar backdrop. The details are truly thoughtful and the space feels effortlessly chic without trying too hard. I started with the Aperol Spritz, honestly one of the best I have had in the city. Well balanced, perfectly garnished, served in a beautiful oversized wine glass. My friend had the champagne and was equally happy. For food we ordered the steak tartare to start, classic, fresh, well seasoned and served with crispy crostini and a light salad. Then came the steak frites with red wine sauce, served on a wooden board with a side of thick cut fries. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and deeply flavored. We finished with the crème brûlée. That caramelized top, that creamy center. The perfect ending to a very Parisian afternoon. The service was attentive and the overall vibe makes it ideal for a special dinner or a long relaxed lunch. If you close your eyes between bites, you could genuinely forget you are in New York. Already planning my next visit.”

“My friend Olivier took me to a charming French spot in my neighborhood yesterday, and it was a really lovely evening. We went with the escargots, mussels, and beef stew—everything was delicious and well-prepared. The service was seamless and the atmosphere was great, making for a very easy, enjoyable night. I’ll definitely be back soon.”

“I had an outstanding experience at this French restaurant. The foie gras was rich, the escargots were perfectly seasoned, and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection every dish was a hit. You can genuinely feel the Chef’s talent and precision in every bite; the craftsmanship is undeniable. The service was effortlessly attentive, which made the whole evening even better. Overall, a truly exceptional spot I’d recommend it without hesitation.”

“The boeuf bourgignon was phenomenal!!! The steak au poivre was quite undercooked (ordered medium rare… and it was concerningly raw at points). Waitstaff, who were friendly at the start, did not check in on us once we were eating, so we could not send it back. Bread basket, which should be complimentary, cost $8 for some measly, cold, flavorless rolls. Seating was very cramped - there was no space between us the neighboring party. For the cost of the meal, with the exception of the delicious boeuf bourguignon, the rest could use some improvement.”

“I come to this restaurant on a beautiful fall day in early November for brunch with two other people. We made the reservation two days prior through Resy. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was less than half full which is not a good sign for a restaurant in the West Village on a nice weekend afternoon. I generally do not like Brunch meals, but sometimes I have to do things I don’t enjoy. Unfortunately, this restaurant highlighted everything I don’t like about brunch. Everything tasted very generic and was not cheap. I had the breakfast sandwich which was fine. My husband had the steak sandwich which came on soggy bread. The staff at the restaurant were nice, but didn’t seem to care at all about what was going on. My husband ordered a drink that never came. The host was his phone most of the time. The server brought us the check without asking if we were finished. Do yourself a favor and go to Pastis down the street instead of here. I would not recommend and I would not go back.”
