“Stopped in for a pint and a warm pretzel and ended up with something that felt like a sip of old New York. I tried the Lil’ Shucker Kölsch—light, crisp, and clearly inspired by the oyster culture that once defined Lower Manhattan. Back in the day, this part of the city was packed with oyster cellars and bustling waterfront markets, feeding locals and visitors alike. The beer feels like a subtle tribute to that history, tying the neighborhood’s past to its present in a really thoughtful way. The location is bright, open and airy blending good drinks with an industrial space. Perfect spot if you are looking to experience a bit of authentic New York character beyond the usual landmarks.”
“I’ve visited several times and love how dog-friendly Six Point Brewery is. Today I stopped in and the staff just always has a way of making everyone feel special, especially John. He went above and beyond to help me find a great beer choice. If you’re in the area or looking for a great atmosphere, yummy food, and vibes that bring summer feels no matter the temperature, I highly recommend Six Point.”
“We love this brewery- food is great (cauliflower, Cobb salad), the beer is the best if you like solid IPAs (Resin), location is accessible. Anna was great!”
“Went here with my coworkers for lunch and the experience was solid. The service was good. I started with a hard cider, it was crisp and refreshing. For my appetizer, the smoked wings came out with a legit smoky flavor and good seasoning. For the main, I had the steak frites. The steak was cooked exactly right and the peppercorn sauce carried the whole plate to another level. Overall, a nice lunch spot with good drinks and delicious food. Would definitely go back.”
“A nice little brew pub in the heart of New York. Easily walkable to the Hudson and a view of the statue. The beers were super tasty. They had great daily specials, so make sure to ask about those and check them out, including discounted, cocktails, and drafts. The smoked chicken nachos were super good, but largely deconstructed, so it was a bit difficult to eat. The cheese was not melted to the chips, so things would fall off the chips and you had to stack each individual chip up with fixings. We also got the fried pickles, they came served with a spicy mayo that was very spicy and delicious. The pickles were crunchy, however very oily. Definitely enjoyed the food would be back.”
