“Low key.. food was so amazing that you want it to stay low key. Salt and pepper squid was the best I ever had, beef wrapped in scallion pancake ????? SON !!!!! Everything from the dumplings to the pepper steak. I would give it 7 stars if I could”

“Solid dim sum place!! Unpopular opinion, but I like it more than House of Joy. Would def come back The have free fortune cookies and mints. The fortune cookies were funny lol - had Mr. Beast ads on them xD - Aromatic beef wrapped in scallion pancake ($12): 11/10, lowkey my fav bite of the meal. Not as greasy as the one from 886 in East Village. Great flavor - Pork xiao long bao ($12): 10/10, juicy and lots of meat. Broth is flavorful, and the skin is thin. Size is on the larger side - Szechuan style wontons ($11): 8/10, lots of meat, and I liked the chili oil a lot - I judge places off of their chili oil lol - Mapo tofu ($21.5): 11/10, but lowkey pricey. Its’s $3.5 extra to add meat, but they load the meat. Great flavor!! - Eggplant w/ garlic sauce ($18.5): 9/10, really yummy but I’ve had better - Squid & shrimp in homemade salted egg sauce ($25): 6/10, it was just okay. Least favorite dish. The one at Royal China in Georgia was life changing, but this wasn’t as good :( *Note: 10% discount if you pay w/ cash”

“Absolutely fantastic food, the General Tso's chicken was crispy, tender, packed with flavor, and the perfect level of spice. The Black Lava custard buns were perfect for a dessert, one of the best desserts I've ever had at a restaurant. 9.8/10. We had a phenomenal experience!”

“I love this place! If you’re looking for Chinese made like in mainland China, this is the place. Its’ clean and simple design is relaxing. As a family we gravitate towards authentic eats with regionalized specialty dishes and not mainstream, US interpretations found in many strip plazas and food courts. I found their version of spicy is still toned down. In particular I recommend the different variations of the Xiaolongboa dumplings with broth. It’s challenging finding it and by the way, they excel at it. Besides this many other options exist…even General Tso’s Chicken (which my friend tried and said it has a twist). I certainly recommend checking out Steam for their great eats. I sampled only a slice of their menu.”

“amazing, authentic chinese dishes at an affordable price! the staff are very friendly and kind, and the space is welcoming and warm. can get quite loud during dinners at peak hours though. my favorite dish is the crab meat & pork xiaolongbao, the soup that comes out of the dumpling at first bite is heavenly and piping hot (a little too much, even. be careful and let it cool down on the table for a bit before eating). overall, 10/10 place to go to when i miss chinese food!”
